Been running 4wd for a few months now. I've seen the left handed thread axles for the front end and finally figured out why it could be an issue. I've been running DE wheels and my son has been running KYO wheels. The DE wheels are not as deep in the hex as the KYO wheels and I spun a wheel off and stripped out the hex. Once I spun a wheel off it will absolutely not stay on. Falls off everytime. Tried locking nuts and even tried 2 nuts. Anyone have a similar experience? Know of a 4wd front with deeper hex?

I ran AKA wheels without any problems but that was with the EVO wheels.

Can someone tell me what electronics setup is the way to go for carpet. Right now I have motor in the rear with servo in front of it. Battery in rear with esc in front. Should I run motor up front for carpet or no.

Your choice. Running the motor in the front will give more steering. I would run the motor in the middle. Rear motor, 8mm forward.

Anyone know if there is a steel outdrive for gear diffs to run these pucks?

Also, our other ZX came with ball diffs that has steel outdrives for the pucks. Where do those come from?

Anyone ever ordered this? The picture is clearly steel outdrives but the description says aluminum.

Pretty sure that's aluminum, not steel. Looks like it was originally meant for a TC. Only run this in a stock class.

I don't belive there is. Just replace the top outdrives from the picture and also the blades. The warping was probably caused by the worn out blades.

I've been replacing them. The outdrives are just very old.

Bulletproof. The hardest part was polishing the surfaces. Should last a good long time.

Is there any reason why this buggy is so cheap right now compared to others?
Most shops here in Germany offer it for 260 €, which really isn't that much compared to the Associated B64 (390,- €), Xray XB4 (529,- €) or the Yokomo YZ-4SF (500,- €). Even the "little brother", the Ultima RB 6.6 2WD is more expensive with around 430,- €.
Always wanted a secondary buggy, either 2WD or 4WD and this seems like a pretty decent option.

Maybe someone can help me out
