Have they made any aftermarket bodies yet??

Not that I have seen. The stock body with drywall tape and shoe goo has been holding up pretty well, and the looks of it have grown on me. Next body I want to do a shark mouth type of paint scheme like you see on some old fighter jets, think it would suit it well :)

I would not ream them out, only if you are going to a race after the build.
The arms free up after a few packs and the play is almost perfect after the first rebuild.
Thats just my experience... ( i havent heard about reaming the inserts( tkr5021) i am talking about the arms...

What's it?
When I ended differentials I saw additional bag with shims. It's written: "Use this shims for all 3 diffs" on it.

But they look identical as I have in kit. Dafuq?

GluEEE, use the shims that is separated bag the one with "Use this shims for all 3 diffs" that is the updated shims for the diffs, it was harden enough unlike the shims that comes from the diffs bag, it is black in color, the silver is soft, there is a topic on this thread that the silver cause failure of the 3 diffs and make the diff oil blackened because of the metal grined from the silver shims, you can still use the diff oil comes from the kit or you already put on the diff as long as the diff hasn't run yet.

let get ??? going what is your setup in your tekno truggy
what lipos have you run to make a long main and what brushless combo did you used and what setting did you used n your esc I am keen to see what every on setup are

stock set up is really good, also you can find set ups on tekno rc website from their team drivers and also on ryan lutz website, he posted his set up on every race he won using tekno vehicles, as for the batt, you can achieve 20 + mins run time by using smc 6500mah 4s 70c batt, 2x 2s makes more run time but the c rating is too much

Is it possible to do camber links (that 70mm) without vice?
I used pliers and vice but I think it's some destructive metod.

mkl 12-29-2014 05:58 AM

are you trying to adjust the camber to turning the links? if so, use a turnbuckle wrench to adjust. here is a link to the Tekno one

use the vicegrip and clamp it on the middle of the rod, turn the end rod using a screwdriver that will fit on the hole of the rod end (that if you havent fit the pivot balls on it) then gentle turn the end rod to achive the 70mm measurement, do it on all links and rods, hope this will help, also before you screw the rod to the end lubricate the plastic by soap or chapstick:D

GluEEE 12-29-2014 11:28 AM

Thanks!

I have clamped the middle of the rod in vice, then clamped the end rod using vicegrip and i was turning to achieve 70mm.

BTW. I have 70.2mm on one, and 70.4mm on second - is it OK? In istruction they say 70.00mm, so its 0.01mm accuracy :o.
