For anyone who has run mechanical breaks on this truck, did you notice significant savings on battery usage? I'm looking to run 20min mains with the nitro truggyies and my 2x 7200 2s are about due for replacement and was thinking switching to mechanical and using my existing 6500 4s would be a better use of the money. I can make 20mins on a 6500 as is, but really have to baby the throttle and breaks.

+1 Life is too short to deal with those things.

I mostly run AE, but picked up some losi 15k for the center.

Think I will stick with AE just wanted some options on 12 and 15. Just received my 2273, how do you like yours?

It's been working great. Turns the wheels the way I tell it too as fast as I can turn the steering wheel. Was a little twitchy with the extra speed compared to the one I replaced (1256) but got used to it in a couple of laps. Running on 7.4v with the gen2 tekin and spektrum no issues with brownout or anything.

what lipos have you run to make a long main and what brushless combo did you used and what setting did you used n your esc I am keen to see what every on setup are

For long main (20 mins) I run 2 x SMC 7200 2s wired in series like your basic saddle pack setup. I use low profile bullets and stack them on their sides with the deans adapter coming out of the bottom +/- and the connecting wire on top.

For normal electric 10min races I use a SMC 6500 4s.

Normally run a 17t pinion on the 2000kv.

I used Promatch IP 7200mah lipos. the 5mm bullets allow a pass thru so you can run a male to male connector like this:

For the coming season I'll probably pick up some 7600s however, to be honest I wonder if it may be better overall to just use a standard pack and have someone do a swap, weight wise.

What's it?
When I ended differentials I saw additional bag with shims. It's written: "Use this shims for all 3 diffs" on it.

But they look identical as I have in kit. Dafuq?

The bag with the additional shims are the proper shims for the diffs. The initial shims that came packaged with the kit were not hardened correctly and were not holding up. So, Tekno has added a bag of properly heat-treated shims to use instead.

So what should I do...?
Do it again and buy new oils?

That is up to you. I would put the proper shims in. There is some information in this thread about the damage caused by the soft shims when they break down. The shavings can damage the other diff gears, so in my opinion, I would use the ones in the bag. Your call my friend.

Should I put grease between shims and diff gear seat?
Or only between o-rings and shims?

Does Team Associated have good oils?

What weight of it should I buy? Stock?

Have they made any aftermarket bodies yet??
