can anyone verify if the neu-castle 1515 2200kv motor will fit and is it good enough for truggy? or better yet, which sensorless motor and battery combo do you recommend?

I read that some of you that run both the ET48 and the EB48 are getting faster lap times with ET48. I was wondering of the guys racing both which one are you faster with?

That's my choice too, real nice servo and they last. The Savox 1256 works well too.

The castle 2200 is a monster it's actually way to much power I run mine turned down to 65% on large outdoor tracks. It runs great though. It barely gets warm and sensored for truggy is over rated IMO. I run mine with a HW 150a

My lap times are very fast with the ET48. Still running stock setup minus a lil droop as well. It is so much fun to drive. My NT48 is built and bout ready. Can't wait to wheel it

I'm an entire lap faster with my truggy than I am with my buggy it drives aggressively like the buggy but is far more forgiving with the larger tires and wider stance

For those of you with RX8 combos, do you turn them down with a setting in Hotwire or with travel on the remote? I'm still learning, thx! I have RX8 2000kv combo and dx4s, my kids run dx3s on their cars and I'll always turned them down with travel, should I be doing it with current limiter or timing, new to the programming of ESCs. Thx again!

I always adjust with my hotwire with all the options tekin has available through hotwire its amazing what you can do with it and yes dial down the current limiter think of it as a slipper clutch in a way I run the 2250t8 at 35% on the current limiter

Ahhh trick it. I was trying to save a lil' dough, but I think I'll go with the Savox SV-1268SG. But, out of curiosity, why would you recommend the 1256 (.15/247) over the 1232 (.13/305 and cheaper)? I know the 56 is lighter, but steel gear Savox servos hold up well, right?

The castle 2200 motor is said to run cool with this truggy? I might be mistaken but werent people saying that the 2000kv t8 would run a little hot with this truggy at 15t gearing? Does that mean the castle 2200 runs cooler than the 2000kv t8?? :/ ... isnt tekin supposed to run cooler than castle products? If I am under the wrong impression about the t8 please do let me know, because I am inclined toward buying the 2000kv t8 but if the castle runs cooler than the t8 then Im not sure how I feel about t8 motors anymore.

Scorpion on the previous page said he runs a 2250 kv t8 ... How is that holding up scorpion? Does it run cool or hot or just fine? A little info would be most appreciated!
