When you changed over to metal spur. What did you use to shim the braces up?

Steve,

I run the 45T metal spur and didn't need to do anything. Fit perfect.

You talking about the 8hole pistons? If so. 37.5/ silver spring front. 35/ silver spring rear.

Could someone tell me if the Losi Front Center Universal Driveshaft (LOSA3587) could be mounted on the 8ight-E 3.0 ?

I don't think it would cause a problem as long as the shim used are thermally conductive (steel or aluminium). You must think about motor heat dissipation through the chassis is on of the main way

Why don't you dig locally the chassis under the spur gear instead?

Arrow LFR has what you need

LFR is a local Florida company that offers this nice plate you put under the motor mount. I recommend this for all trying to run a bigger Sper Gear. >> http://shop.leadfingerrc.com/LFR-mot...y-LFR10092.htm

Thumbs up I would say YES

Yes it can but remember that they switched the drive shafts on the 3.0 so the short is in the rear now and long in the front. Drake actually runs that shaft so YES on the rear only... now i'm thinking the front might be longer on the 3.0 .... If you need to change the pin there are a few company's that make them.> http://www.amain.com/Mugen-Seiki-Dri...t-Tool/p221425
