I'm considering buying a 17.5, What's your favorite 17.5 motor for the B4.2?

If you don't care about dropping some coin, the Trinity Certified D3.5 is a rocket. I don't know how that thing passes tech.

AE states the C4.2 is for high traction surfaces, the only problem with that is I don't really have a high traction surface to run on. Ya the track at Four Season is kinda weak at this time, I know I'm getting tired of it but its 8 min from my house. I heard the next layout with keep the outside circle

You kidding ?

The traction at 4S right now is very high ....
Mike said so just yesterday ...

If they keep the oval layout going will wait till they do change .

I agree. They are similar in a few aspects. However, the chassis flex is pretty different between the two. One was designed for overseas tracks and one was designed for US off road stuff

No, traction was lame from 12 to 3pm until they were swept the entire track at 3pm right as I was leaving. Mike probably ran a battery after that. I have the video to prove it lol. Everybody was complaining up to about 3 o'clock

Same as TRCR , practice always looser then race conditions .

Can sweep to help ..

Each time you sweep the traction will improve ..
Beats complaining ...

I wasn't really complaining but some other people were. I'm used to loose conditions since I never race, I just sauce the tires and add some expo or loosen the slipper or both to compensate or drive 4wd. B44.5, RC8Be, SC8Be, FT SC10 4X4, SCTE, Mini 8ight, RC18B2.

There are 2 reasons as to why the Centro is the more popular choice.

1. Full Associated Support
2. X6 Availability, or lack there of (currently)

I will only listen to which someone feels is better when I hear from someone who has run both Mid Motor kits and has a true basis for which to explain why one is better than the other. having said that, one person's opinion alone is not enough either so we need more time so that a greater number of well informed people can weigh in on the matter via hands-on experience with both.

Maybe easier for you to test both yourself to decide...

I have driven each many times...

WOW, I clicked on this fully expecting to be like yeah right but man that thing was tight! With the exception of the tight hairpin it was simply stuck to the track.

Driving each many times is also not a good basis from which to base an informed opinion as it's telling that you are driving different cars belonging to different folks. As such, everyone's setup is different so it would be impossible to gauge which is superior using that as an example.

You'd have to drive both models only after they were set up by the same person. This is the ONLY way to know for sure which is better. Being as South Florida tracks are rough red "clay" we will likely never run MM cars, so I doubt I'd ever run one. Had my 22 and never even thought to run MM configuration because the steering system was terrible enough that I realized early on I needed something better to improve my consistency.

The only kit currently that's intriguing me is the Schumacher Mid Motor Jammie because it was purposely designed and engineered as a mid motor and it looks well done. It may prove to be a total turd, but I'm not a fan of these rigged MM kits which I'm convinced do nothing better than a properly tuned RM version. It all depends on who's had the Radio is residing in. A great driver will always make anything look good. Local guy here purposely built a slash to compete in Mod SC class and he spanked everyone, just to prove the point.

Yes cars can make a significant difference, but the capabilities of drivers can make an even more significant difference.

Of course , why I said it would be best for you do your self ..

I don't drive just one , but can tell you with just a few laps which is performing the best ...

No need for two identical rides by the same driver for me ...

2 laps with any car will be worth more knowledge then a 1000 pages of internet ...

I don't even waste my time driving the 2 laps. I know already because Wild Cherry keeps me informed.
