you want the mod racing one? Anyway, I run the avid and have loved it for the past year. The only "mod" I did was put the red pad in the middle. otherwise it slaps right on the car.

I think most would say yes if running stock, Mod, VTS is good.

yeah, the vts is good for mod. But i am not sure its pads are as good as the triad. you could also look into the garodisc pads from rcshox

BTW. Many of you gave me some advise on the gear diff I wanted to try. Some said forget it, but I messed with it all day today.

Here is my $.02. I am a novice weekend warrior and I run mod (purely more fun). I felt the car suited my driving style way better with the gear diff. I started at 2K oil and stayed there. Run 2 packs with the ball diff first to get used to the things and feel the car. Then I dropped in the gear diff. While my lap times are not all that consistent as I bobble on a lap then get a good lap and so on. My total lap times were lower with the gear diff.

I felt like I had to drive the car a bit on the sweeper. If I totally let off the throttle the rear really wanted to come around. The track had a lot of 180 degree turns so this was ideal. Once I kept on the gas in the sweeper and got that figured out the car was way better.

Thanks for all the help. I am going to mess with some different oils next time.

WC id like to see you drive one of our cars at my track, or either of my buddies. Because the guy running a c4.2 ran 9.2 and we just ran 8.9 lap granted it was only a couple but still

Haha Cherry B4.2 is done lol you better hope not or your going to have a hard time getting parts eventually! I think your just experiencing that new car love, I'm almost positive you will get beat by a B4.2 in the near future. Mike didn't seem to want to run his c4.2 today or Friday and I was like hmmm. Track was loose as it gets today, so dusty.

I was just thinking to my self I wonder if the X Factory guys are kicking them selves in the @$$ for not getting a million dollar deal with AE lol! From out of nowhere Centro comes along and steals every hope they could have of ever selling another mid motor kit. Sucks to be them lol.

Not sure where you get your info but they're selling plenty.

That is true. I know that the back orders are still not filled and more and more keep coming in. I personally will be trying to help Paul and Chazz as mucha s possible over the next few weeks to try and get the Cubed's out the door. I do like the Centro as well, but they are just different designs ulitimately.

I did some tuning at Wolcott yesterday.

-0 Anti-squat will put more weight over the rear on acceleration, and make it more predictable if it steps out on you mid-corner.

-3.5 toe block, and it'll lift the wheels coming down the straight. (might try .5 hubs next time out)

-Rear hubs all the way forward.

-35F/32.5R with 1.6 all the way around. This gives me good pack for clearing the big triple, and feels good everywhere else.

I'm running a shorty with 14g next to the servo, 7g in each rear triangle, and the FT ballast weight. I was trying out JC Pressure points in green out back, and blue Bar codes up front. I forgot the rest of my super soft tires at home, but the car was pretty good. Feel free to give it a go if we're ever there together. I've found that the heavier I make my car there, the better it gets. I may add another 14g to the front of the battery tray.
