I replace my diff every few months. My 17.5 is real noisy right now, pushing and real hard to read on turns. Going to rebuild diff and slipper......and check motor plate.

Well I always tell guys to play with there anti-squat I run ZERO in mine. so if your running 2 or 3 take it out and try that. if your still spinning out or pushing. Ride height can have something to do with that too so play around with that.

If it's not constant,it's probably not the motor plate.. A bent motor plate will be noisy all the time, not just when you take off or slow down.

So how do you set or adjust the anti-squat?

Hey, I tried looking for the answer to this in here but after a couple different checks in the search function I couldn't find the answer:

Which of the servo horns is the right size for a Protek R/C servo? It's this one right here:

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...tal-Gear-Servo

25 tooth. I'm either forcing it or doing something wrong because I can't seem to figure out which one -.- I've been using an aluminum one from Protek but I realized that my car didn't turn as far to one side as it did to the other because the aluminum one was a little too long.

BTW, this servo is AWESOME! No issues with it and goodness it's fast! Which is what I need since you have to steer through all the Shortbus traffic at my track

Well 25 tooth is what you want and the plastic one from associated is Letter F so if it doesn't fit you may have messed the splines up on the servo

+1 on the above. I know when I installed my Ace, it was a really tight fit to get the horn on. I had to double check to make sure I was putting the right one on.

well the prob with the aluminum horn is if you didn't use the right one or if you don't have it lined up right and you tighten it down it can screw the gear on the servo up

perfect I made sure not to try too hard because I didn't want to mess up the servo OR the horns so everything should be fine Thanks for the help guys!

What is the best way to know if you need to rebuild your diff?
