I did use all new parts. but if you only have to do it once every 2 or 3 months, who cars if they are new. ;)

why? probably just a hickup.

Figures, I built a T4.1 last week and only raced it the first time on Sunday. I knew this was coming, but was hoping it would be a couple more months from now. :D I did get mine on sale for $214 at the LHS where I race so that takes some of the sting out of it (plus I got it right away rather than waiting to probably the end of Feb). Hey, whatever makes me feel better. Don't rain on my mind games I'm playing with myself anyone! :)

Yeah I am sure it is, just thought it was odd..... I was able to find one in stock from a different vendor, so I guess we know they are shipping...

Gearing is very much tied to motor... what motor turn are you planning on running?

Well I have a 8.5t but just wondering what kind of motor and gearing everyone is running.
I will be running on a large indoor carpet track, I bought a 19-22 pinion to start.

Since the first of the year I've been running a 72 spur and a 32 pinion with a Ballistic 17.5 High RPM with 45 deg of motor timing and blinky mode. This is about perfect for my track (medium size indoor clay) and pushes about 158-165 degrees temp over a 7 minute main. I know 69 spur and 31 pinion is a very popular ratio on our track and is numerically almost exactly the same. That ratio is also common for 13.5 as well.

I think your receiver might weigh more than your esc.
