I cant tell a lot from the pic. Are those avid or AE rear hub towers? What JC option parts is he running? I can see the battery strap and the wheels nuts. I assume he used the battery strap because it has more surface rear for the esc to mount on.

They are Avid A/C towers. Here is another pic. I think he made a separate platform for the ESC. it attaches with the U Brace screws.

Looks like TLR pink springs on the front?

There is no tlr pink front, those are most likely kyosho springs.

I find it funny that AE spent time and money to develope their own spring sets and he uses another manufacturer's.

Wow George, the 2013 Reedy Race. Hard to believe my first big race was the 1993 Reedy Race. 20 Years Ago! In fact, my avatar picture is of my Kyosho Lazer I was running there...

ESC is mounted on a CF plate across u-brace. same this as TY T. use to run

Wildcat1971 01-25-2013 05:38 PM

nice. I am surprised by the amount of locals from AZ at the event.

Anyone know if those caster blocks are new or old 30s? No ribbing plus two hole; haven't seen that combination before.

Also, new Lunsford turnbuckles maybe? Also like the shaving of the steering block to change the axle height too.

Edit: Just read in the Jconcepts thread that they're production turnbuckles. Look good. Wonder the weight difference between the two.
