With the VTS I go for 1" lift maximum.

So with Amain's stock status not specifying a date anymore, and Tower Hobbies website now showing Late February, was the delivery date pushed back? Or is this just a reflection of the first shipment being spoken for, and having to wait for additional stock? Anybody have word from the boys in blue as to when we'll start seeing these in stock?

lhs part rep a day or two to a mo

I talked to A Main today and was told that it would be in stock in early Feb, depending on where you are in the pre-order queue. I take this to mean that the first ones will show up to their facility in early Feb and they have more pre orders than they have cars in the first shipment.

Makes sense... thanks for the info!

Am I to interpret this as:

The Local Hobby Shop's parts representative said a day or two at most?

If so, that seems to be conflicting with what's being said everywhere else..

Yeah I test the same way, just wasn't sure if you guys felt you could change your setting after switching to the VTS. I never really thought too much about it, which is why I asked.

I actually just put the stock one back on for this week since I'm running 17.5. I wanna see if I notice a difference. If not, I'll prolly just put it back on.

I definitely noticed a difference in Mod. Slipper settings pretty much never changed through a run.

Stock can take advantage of the
performance of the Triad even better then mod .

Stock motor deliver mostly torque & have low RPM .
17.5 can easily spin the tires ....;)

well I wanted a Triad at the time but they weren't in stock LOL. So my choices at the moment are VTS or stock V2 ;)

I see many with glazed VTS pads & the slipper locked up ...

Use clean pads & set correctly for best performance, you will be good .:)

Yes I know its been talked about 1000 times (what hasn't ):

On the shorty lipos Where is everyone starting with position? Even with ubrace front bolts?

Thanks!

Wildcat1971 01-24-2013 11:28 AM

I run mine even with the ubrace. 1/4 in rear triangles, ballast and 1/2 next to receiver. Cut an sc10 foam to fit, because lot of little foams suck.

aeRayls 01-24-2013 11:32 AM

Mine will be here on Tuesday... Jus sayin :)

I guess I'll be patient

From my understanding the B4.1 has been discontinued so the .2 should be here shortly.

2 1/2 pads to the rear (a little infront of the ubrace) is my standard spot. Even with the Antenna mount was good too.
