to get the tires off my tamiya rims. It leaves a bad smell afterwards
but has to be done because that saves me money buying new tires.

What are you talking about?

In theory that sounds good. But I know I don't want to be reading/reviewing 6 different threads per car that I have. I'm on this site too much as it is

Expect to see the B4.1 thread become just as popular as the old B4 thread ...

Long live our new dig's & the Ae B4.2 !!!

Don't question BMag's brilliance. He's the reason why the original B44 thread was the most entertaining thread in rctech's history.

So BMag, which color sharpie are you going to use to color the rims on your new B4.2? AE Blue? Keep us posted....

I bought some wrong threaded for my jc hex's never figured it out. Go to LHS or Home Depot and take the one you have, buy 4 or 5 and send me a few!

A hardware store would be your best bet, have them take you to the miniature metric hardware. Probably like a 1.5mm screw or maybe a little smaller.

I went from green to black on rear BB's and kept the green on the front. Did better. Track was a little looser so I could get rear to come around better.

Well the JC hex use a 2x6mm. The AE and Avids use a 2-56x I dont know. Something close to 5mm on the length. Ace hardweare charged me like 70cents per 2x6mm.

Also, I went to 1.7s with 35/32.5 tonight on an outdoor track with ok sized jumps. I was "long" jumping everything to check the pack. Still way more pack than the v2's, less than 1.6's, but I didnt like the feel of the 1.6's. It feels really plush with the 1.7 on the outdoor track. I plan to try the same shock package tomorrow at our local indoor med bite track. But if you race on an outdoor mixed conditions track, the 1.7s with 35/32.5 felt pretty good.
