Never felt the need with the reedy's...they were always pretty good out of the box.

Well idk lol it just says factory team on it lol it has a blue motor plate and some hefty looking Cvds and all rpm and blue turnbuckle rods and cf batt strap and threaded shocks and a blue front chassis brace, that's all I kno that are different than an rtr!

I'm running a standard RevTech 17.5 on a Tekin RS, it doesn't have near the explosive power as the D3.5 but it feels a lot smoother, any motor is fast with the proper gearing and buggy setup

does the center of your chassis (on the underside) look like it has about an 8mm strip added? Does it have the circular mold release plug on it (about the size of a nickel)?

It does not have to be +8mm for it to fit. The old B4/B4.1 body will fit the WC and B4.2.

I know this is a preference but how do you like your dead band width set? I have tekin rs' and pros and I set it at 5. I drove someones car tonight who had his set at zero and as soon as you touched the throttle, it was going.

Just curious as to how people like theirs or pro/cons of having it set that way.

I run mine in the middle setting.

Does anyone here charge their lipo pack WHILE the esc is plugged into the pack with alligator clips? I saw a pic of cav doing this. this is not something I need or want to do, but I am curious as to weather this is bad for the esc. I smoked an esc back in the day when we used to solder our packs in and I didnt want to desolder the pack for charging.

I have seen that pic of Cav as well, I would never do it, but I pay for my equipment.

Even if it's a standard 4.1 and not a +8 it fits almost as well. Just a 8mm gap just behind the suspension arms. Out of my 5 or 6 bodies I run I think only one of them is actually a +8 body. You have to really be looking and know where to look to even tell.
