I would also put a link top the b4.2/b4.1 setup sheets. The kit setting from the manual looks really good. Mainly the tires, shock package and hubs change for most of us. You might want to put the popular shock packages up, or more specifically the 1.7mm shock setup that guys are running, since the 1.6 shock package is in the manual. Maybe speak to what is gained and lost between the 1.6 and 1.7 packages. We actual;ly dont have a ton of MOD's anymore. The hex conversion, the alum rack and the 3 disk slipper are all included now. Shaving the brace might be the only mod left, lol. We dont even have to dremel the tower for the BB anymore.

LOL! Me too! I knew this was gonna happen. My poor WC is loose, I mean loose, so I decided to get a new WC kit and purchased the big bores separate. I have been waiting for this release and waiting to upgrade my shocks but couldnt wait anymore and of course the "new" kit is in a press release 4 days after I bought all the other stuff.LOL!

Gearing and track size would be cool, link to starting setups like Chad Due Indoor and Ryan Cavlieri All Indoor Track, mods such as grub screw rear axle, shaved u brace, maybe some of the more common tuning options. Since they would technically not apply to the "new" car I don't know if shaved tower for big bores, gluing the steering rack, V2 Big Bore, etc should be listed or not.

+1 they seem pretty determined to have 2 threads on the same car. Thanks Forester!

Care to elaborate? In the mean time, I'll sort through the B4.1 thread and look for mentions of this. Thanks

Some tap a thread into the rear hubs to 'lock' the hub to the hinge pin with a setscrew, takes a little bit of slop out of the rear end. Nobody likes a sloppy rear end.

If I have a b4.1 now with all the current upgrades, and I decide to buy the new 4.2 will the same setup work or will I need to start over?

You basically tap the the Aluminum Rear Hub with a grub screw so you can tighten it against the rear hinge pin to help with some of the slop. It is listed somewhere in the B4.1 thread but I'll see if I can find it. If you have seen a TC3 or TC4 Rear Hub it is the same concept.

Click here for an idea of it

I wasn't aware of the terminology used, seems like a pretty standard mod regardless. Thanks for the clarification Matt.

Exactly. More than half the people have all the upgrades anyways. Lame.
