Skills is an understatement :D. I would love to have seen the crash that caused that. I run RPM on my bashers and man they abuse they take is unreal. Plus the warranty to boot.

@jam I think the +8 was a good upgrade. I had the short chassis and I liked the +8 much more. because of the cost of the body, chassis and battery strap, I just sold mine and bought a used 4.1 WC with upgrades. For the same reason people will sell their WC and buy a 4.2. The $100 shocks will make it worth it, plus all of the upgrades. The 4.2 does have quite a few more upgrades over the 4.1 wc. Also, with all of the upgrades I have bought, the +8 was the only one to make me faster. I am still hopefull that the BB shocks will help out, once I tune them.

$280 for a kit killer price. One thing i love on this hobby price of most manufactuers cars havent gone up.

rc10 CE circa 1990 what about 200-225 came with bearings. Still had to buy Titanium turnbuckles, CVD's were seperate and any of this fancy stuff since no FT kits then. No one had threaded shocks.

Take in 25 years, economy inflations, and well kits is now $280 with all these bells and whistles.

umm, mainly the take off on jumps. I am still tuning them, but I swapped out my v2's for them and kept eveything else the same, but the take off on jump is kinda hold you breath and pray. The landings are very good and I gained a ton of steering. Do the 1.7 pistons with 37.5/35 have less steering?

less pack compared to 1.6 ,thus more grip & steering...

My experience when I went directly from 1.6 30/27 to 1.7 37/35 was more steering response but less rear grip. The low speed damping was thicker on the 1.7, but the pack was less.

If people are looking for pertinent info on the kit, and would like to see it listed on the first page, pm me with the info. I have a lot of things to be added, and I'm sure ill miss something.

C-on Raz , bigger the piston hole = less pack

less pack = more traction & steering

common knowledge
