I am sure it is a tighter hole, but I prefer to have access to more holes.

I like three tights holes myself.... Caster blocks people! :sneaky:

I'm able to change caster on my B4.2 didn't ran it yet so its not wear..
Any of you that also have this 'problem'

The extra play you have with the 3 hole is not a game changer , would use the 3 hole till they are used up and then try the 2 hole ....

Slop is actually good, takes some of the twitchyness out and easier to drive. It's the endearing trait of the B4.

one thing that annoyed me about the kyosho was the amount of different parts it had. RB5 arms, SP arms, SP2 arms, WC arms and then a ZX5 arm conversion. Regular towers, SP2 towers, WC towers, short towers, high towers. etc. One of the reasons I wanted to try the B4 is there is only one type of everything.

So 3 hole for me just to keep it simple.

yeah, I have been reading the rb6 thread, they have a crazy amount of parts for setups. That car is expensive to buy and seem expensive to setup for racing. Even if the RB6 is better, I would stick with the b4 so I have more money for tires, lol.

Thats what i hated too. You had to run the arms from this car and the medium shock ends from that car and something else from somewhere else, lol. I heard it is alot better now with the rb6 though.

The only reason the RB6 isn't like that is because it's a new platform. Give it time

I hated that when I ran an RB5. The guy I bought it from had two different rear arms on the car and it took me 2 race days to realize it. One was shorter than the other

Put in the new tappered pistons last night. they fit tighter in the shock body, and tighter on the shock shaft. Bench racing they feel nice and plush, curious to see how they are on the track next.

The slipper sound -to me- is not bad.
Just a suggestion
-Good luck tracking down the issue

I would call it a diff growl, gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, lol. I am going to check both and rebuilt before Saturday or I will have to race by 4.1.9, eecchhhhh.

even if the rb6 is *better*, there are still people breaking the same parts and the fix seems to be "MORE ALUMINUM." Broken u-brace? ALUMINUM. Broken bell crank? ALUMINUM. Prematurely worn outdrives? $40 MIP setup. For $450 it should come with all that or it shouldn't break so easily. It doesn't seem like I have to worry about any of that with the B4. Can't wait for the RB6 SP, it'll come with all the aluminum fixes and cost more than a ebuggy.

So, Parts support is a huge one.
I don't mean to turn this into a brand bashing convo. Just my opinion/rant.

I am going to put a foam rubber ball around the upper section of my car and just the wheels stick out the bottom so I don't need a marshall and I never break anything. It is the next big thing!!

For those of you running the center mounted ESC, have you noticed a difference?

Well there are 3 arms for the B4.

I really like this B4 so far. What I like the most is everything I need is right in the box. I only had to purchase C Hubs and a couple extra springs. It blows my mind why Losi cant do that. I spent a good $200 on upgrades just for my Losi 22.
