New body I will be running on my Tekno this weekend at Off Road Kings. Sean at Stiky Liks Grafiks does killer work!

Haha so true, my wife always asks "what are you doing on that[ipad]?" and I say reading, i would never pick up a book(unless it was about my job or rc knowledge) but i will read forums all day, now if i could just get a high paying job in RC. although i dont think the sales commissions are quite the same as enterprise tech

Nothing else, it's not like a slash, you just bought everything you need, it's all in the kit, that's why we all love it, believe I'm like you always looking for the next hop up but tekno designs everything to be the best so there's no "needs" per se but once your up and running you may need to look at new springs depending on your track and the new straight cut diff spur n opinions are a "nice to have" feature but only when originals wear. If racing indoors maybe the lightened out drives but otherwise aluminum hexes and servo horn. The new plastic horns tekno just added to the .2 kits are awesome, Idk if ur sct has em yet tho.

Tekno is the hopup for others brands :)

Once my current RC8.2e chassis wears out I'm going to run a tekno conversion kit instead.

I'm sure there will eventually be a degree in RC lol.. When that comes to pass I 'll get a masters in it for sure! Back onto topic, ever since I swapped over to the steel spur, 17T pinion my temps will go no higher than 138-140s should I go down to a 16T to get back to the 150s or would you guys keep it at that?

AlderBoy 09-04-2013 08:24 AM

Yep, FTW.

Lower temps are a good thing.

If ESC and battery temps are still fine then I would leave it unless you need more punch for short run up jumps.

Out of stock for another week or 2 at least but if you search this thread there was a small hobby shop link that had a couple.

They're held up in customs right now. We were hoping to have them this week. Might be next week now :(.
