When I first put mine together I made a ton of changes and originally didn't try the stock setup. I had my truck so messed up I didn't know which way to go so I put every thing back to box stock and it handled much better. Your truck do as you please but imo you should try the stock setup. Just one guys opinion! Enjoy!!!

I don't know if Techno torture tested this truck, but it's about to get one now. I'm improving as a driver but it's still not a thing of beauty. I'm 64 so my reflexes and my eyesight aren't what they once were. If the Techno survives me they can run an ad proclaiming it the toughest SCT on the market and use a film of one of my practice days as proof.

My truck has survived my 66 y/o reflexes and eye sight for about two weeks now and it is still going, the body isn't very pretty but that is one tough truck!

Every time I look at your setup it's like wtf when I get to your center dif fluid. I know it works for you. I think I have some heavy dif oil left over from my erbe days. Maybe I'll give the 100k a whirl. LOL Heck I think I still have some Traxxas 500k. That might be a bit much.

lol. Solid diff option in the future? :)

Well Meyankee it's good to know that I'm not the only senior citizen with a Techno! Maybe we should start Team Gray Panthers.

Anyone have any setup sheets for a medium size low/med traction track?

Cool. Looking forward to pics of the final product, maybe one in usage too. that probably was the one head scratcher as far as what to use when doing dissassembly of my shocks with how well the cap screwed on lol.

Side question, what nut drivers are you guys finding work well removing the wheel nuts? I have been using for some time a cheap set of dynamite nut drivers, the rubber handle ones. Never had an issue with them, so I just kept using them.

Now, with the serrated nuts that come with the sct410, they bit so hard into the wheel that I had to get a ratchet set to remove them.

I am leaning towards the AE hex drivers since they have a nice passthru on the handle you an run something in to get even more torque if needed.

Anyone else have any suggestions? Even open to overseas stuff if need be like turnigy, trackstar, etc.

HUDY!!!!!!! the best!!

thanks. AE version looks similar too, any opinions on that one?

Its shallow. I think the hudy and dynamites are the deepest sockets by far but I only have 1 AE SAE nut setter to verify.
