Good to hear you got it together already, still waiting for mine though. 14.5 is fast Man! Really looking forward to running some, especially on the outdoor track.

As good as this is on our small indoor track, I can't wait to drive it outside...it will be ridiculous!

What caused it to crack, did you have any head on collisions or any lawn darting? Also, what body are you using?

I just wanted to agree with a prior post....the inserts with the barcodes suck for this truck. I was able to run them in my SCTE ok for the life of the rubber (which has been about 6 months)...but with this truck, 3 race days and 3 of my 4 tires feel like they're just about empty. :(

I can't seem to find any of the AKA foams stand alone for SC, just every other car (and I tend to run the AKA's in all my other tires). Have others that run gold/clay compound tires found this to be an issue, and an insert that is actually available that lasts?

Try these as a substitute for AKA foams

Nothing terribly out of the ordinary...I know didn't drive completely clean all night, but nothing stands out as a "Oh, Crap" moment. Like I said, no big deal, Just wondering if anyone had spaced the bumper forward to stick out in front of the body to take a little bit of the impact instead of the body being the leading edge. I'm running a Losi SCTE rtr body.

From my experience, the losi body is the weakest body i have ever used....In fact I had two Losi bodies do the same thing you described while on the SCTE.
Either way, better luck with your next body....
I love how when i spell Losi, my phone wants to auto correct it to losing:lol::lol:

That's good to know. I had a SCTE with the same body last summer and didn't have any issues, but I didn't have it very long, so I really didn't get to test the durability. I'll reinforce the crap out of this one and run it until it falls apart then go back to my favorite...JConcepts Raptor. Any better recommendations?

Haha...losing.

That's the first place all of my stock Losi bodies have cracked. There is a bit of a mold line right there that splits every time. The new TLR body seems to hold up well as long as you don't have all the cutouts opened up.

Jconcept bodies 4 sure.

Dude, what body is that. I have been looking around for something that has the F bumper stick out a little more then what i have on my new HOTNESS. I pretty much ran proline desert rat body with rpm F bumper on my SCTE and never worried about it. Not really a fan of how my bumper tucks so far up and under my current body..... Or anyone, any suggestions
