Thanks for the info on that evo guys. I'll adjust how I drive it today. Sounds like a lil tweaking in my throttle control in the air and I might like it. We'll see ;).......so use to that diamond back tho, haha

So far out of the 10 SC bodies I've owned of the years (Associated, Pro-Line & JConcepts) I find the JConcepts bodies to be the most durable. Really like the thickness an durability of the JConcepts F250 body on my SCT410. I wouldn't use the F250 body on my 2wd SC because I have a feeling it would transfer too much weight to the back of the truck and it would fly nose high. |
hmm, wonder if a section on the first page about bodies and characteristics they will provide to the vehicle could be useful?
Could then look there and know that when I run outdoor offroad large tracks, bodies A, B, etc. are good, then indoor small track, bodies C,D etc. |

Speaking of flying nose high I find my truck that is built with the stock setup is doing this. I'm going to test it during the next practice with the body off to see if that helps. Any other suggestions? Could the front be too soft? I know I am the rare case of a nose high jumper.
I've had the nose up issue when my ride height was too high in the front. Also I had that same issue when I did the battery mod and didn't adjust my ride height before I went out to test it on my backyard track. |

for reamers check out vppro they have nice tools for the money... i like the hudy tools as well but their allen tips don't hold up as well as i expected. being a mechanic most of my life i always bought the best tools i could find...some lasted my whole career..
I love their tools and I've been using them for years but I agree that their hex tips needs replacing every now and then. it feels like their replacement tips round out much quicker than before. Any suggestions for a better alternative with 120mm long tips like the Hudy? I'm trying RDRP, so far so good but they're too short(60mm maybe?). The Serpent 120mm hex wrenches look interesting, they even look like Hudy's. |

I guess your suspension could be rebounding too quickly and causing the nose to fly high.

I sure wish I had a backyard track to test on! I test before I race at the track or if I can get there for a practice session. Thats so cool having a test spot in the back

Yes it sure is nice having 3 acres. But can only practice spring to fall since I live in Canada. two feet of snow on the track now but here's the current layout I have. 110x80
