I wouldn't recommend the 100ss. The 100t would be better suited.

I would like to know how... I made 3 laps with my truck and it stripped out.

EPA's were set properly and I didnt hit a pipe until I lost steering.

It is what it is though...

I put aluminum servo arms on every RC vehicle I get. It's usually one of my first upgrades. I mainly upgrade the servo arm because I know how I drive!!! LOL!!!

The stock servo arm seems to be really beefy, but upgrading it to aluminum just gives me a piece of mind. I know aluminum can bend and break. I think it's more of a mental thing with me - like a placebo effect!! LOL!! Give me an aluminum servo arm and my truck (or buggy) is invincible!!! LOL!!!

exactly. especially on near 7 pound vehicles and above. to complain about the plastic servo horn in the kit just shows how awesome the kit really is, that you have to stoop to that to find something to cry about.

Something to cry about?...someone asked about must have upgrades. There are right ways and wrong ways to do a plastic servo horn and tekno chose the wrong way.

The point is there is no plastic horn I've seen (let alone any that come in a kit) that I would confidently run in a 7lb truck.

You're out 10 bucks. Big whoop. Tekno didn't include aluminum servo horns as they didn't manufacuture them when the truck came out. In a .2 kit, yes i'd expect to see the aluminum tekno one included with aluminum hexes. It's pretty hard to think of anything else to complain about in this kit besides hexes and the servo horn.

Wow drillin through the wood in here is pretty tough I never complained. Someone asked about must have upgrades. That factory horn is not going to make 5 laps.

I think part of the reason most kits don't come with aluminum servo horns certainly has something to do with the fact that people use different servos.....they would have to either supply 3 horns(which they do with the plastic ones), or make it accept 3 adapters(like the stock Losi horn), which also would make it bigger and less appealing.

Has anybody ran the new shock shafts in there kit? If so how do you like them in comparison or is it just a show piece? I was thinking about getting them, then I'd also need the gold lungsford kit to go with the new bling lol!

Definitely makes the shocks a bit smoother. Other than that I replaced the o rings along with them. Seem to be holding up well.

I've run nothing but plastic horns in both buggy and truggy for 4+ years without issue. If you have problems running them then something else is off.

Default superlite!

Got a superlite conversion today and went ahead and installed it. Pretty straight forward conversion although I found it easier to not use the sparse directions. Interested to see how the hub bearing hold up with the added stress of the 17mm hex adapters. Now just need to finish up the body and hit the track!
