The bearing was a odd size and I think had a flange I can't remember. Boca and Avid both didn't have them on their sites. I called trinity to get a sensor board, new shims, o rings, and bearings for the motor and they wouldn't sell me either. They wanted me to send the motor in stead. In stead of paying the repair fees I gave it away.

That's good feedback I'll let Ernie know they need to make the components readily available. They have everything listed for the D3.5's and Kill Shot motors in the catalog.

Ya, I was always a Trinity fan, thats why I didn't think twice about paying more for the 4xs. I'd give the new one a shot, but this time ill wait for parts and such to be out.

What about the revtech lipos 6900mah 100c, I'm using these in my tekno and seems like they're going downhill, case is deformed, pretty warm after run, feels like air between cell and case after run, they dont finish charge anymore etc...kind of scary and that pricey of a battery shouldn't have problems

What motor are you using?

Ernie's blog about puffing: http://www.trinityrc.net/2013/08/the...ehind-puffing/

I don't know but I would think that battery could power my system no problem, even have my current limit down and throttle EPA down, even worse they don't complete charging, I only paid 100$ for 2 of them but going for smc or promatch next

Yep. SMC 7200 (race formula) in my Mugen conversion for the past 9 months (tenshock and HW motors) and now in my Tekno for the past month or so and not puffed, both cells still below 3ohm resistance. Little to none current limit and 100% epa.
SMC is a fantastic pack at a great price.

That's super cheap for those batteries.

I've been running the Sting 7200 and a ReVtech 8000 battery and have been happy. Seen a lot of people post good stuff about the SMC's here not sure there are quite as many Promatch users.

Got my diffs done last night. I love race kits!!!!! I hated breaking into a brand new kit to remove the diffs, then take the diffs apart to clean out all the grease, then reassemble with silicone fluid. On a second note, I love the design of the diffs, just the slight difference from my Losi but better in my opinion. The truck will be completed this weekend!!!

Promatch all the way. Just cos their return policy is awesome. Sent me a new nitro rx pack just cos it used to discharge weirdly. Been running the 7200 in my truck for a while no puffing still same amount of punch. I sold off all my other spare batteries because this thing takes a 40A charge between heats .
