The tekin system with a 16t is great for almost any track I have run all med outdoor. Is it 4600kv?

Hey Jim, sc10 4x4 is totally different, starting with pinion type. The sc10 uses 32 pitch gears and the tekno uses mod1. Different tooth size so hard to compare. The sc10 runs so hot because the motor is stuffed in the back like that and the end is covered by the gear cover over the spur. I removed the cover and ran a good 15* cooler. I was running a 12 tooth to try to keep temps under control and in the tekno with exact same electronics I run a 15 tooth., after 8 - 10 minutes my motor is barely warm as a baby bottle. I can actually slap in another battery right after I marshal and go for another 10 minutes all day and night long! I need more batteries now....

Question.... Trying to get my 410 set to my local track. What diff oils would best suit a medium bite loose with hard pack surface? This thing has so much power it slide coming out of the corner on power. And slide also on the straight under power.

If I don't have the right tires I'm sliding all over the place, what are you running for rubber? What are you running set up wise right now? Diff fluids, shock oils, shock springs and such?

Hey guys. I tried to unscrew the bolt which attaches the steering link to the ackerman (see pic). When I turned the screw, the nut spun in the little casing. I understand that plastic is soft and so forth. Was just curious if any one has had this issue and what you did about it. It was a pain to get the bolt out cause the nut kept turning. I know APE has a metal ackerman but it is a bit pricey for me.

Separately, how do you post more than 1 pic at a time using an iPhone? The pics are all given the same name so it keeps replacing the pic with the new one.

If you went from a losi scte to the tekno sct410 how did your gearing change from the 2 trucks? I'm having a had time finding gearing that works as good as it did in my scte.

I have a Hobbywing 4000kv and on medium tracks upped the pinion like 2 tooths. Now running a 18.

Typically you would go up 2t from what you were running in your losi

Edit: oops, someone beat me to the punch

When you went up 2teeth did you loose a lot of low and mid range power?

I believe the scte's spur is smaller than the Tekno's so going up a few teeth on the pinion probably gets you to the same gear ratio.
