I came to the xb4 from the dex410. There are things I like about both cars and things I dont like. But, the bottom line is I feel smoother while on pace or a tick faster with the xb4 and with practice last night the xb4 was getting better and better. The harder I push the better it handles. I didnt believe that either at first but i drove mine and told myself not to be scared to break and push it.

Very happy xb4 owner. Now if we can get the update parts in the US.

BTW_ I made an aluminum brace for front bulkhead and used washers front and back of ballstuds and shock mounts on the tower to beef up the car.

Ordered a set of the black shock towers for emergency back up. They look great.

My ESC and motor are- Tekin RS pro and Reedy 7.5.

I run a LRP Flow and Novak 6.5t motor running the stock spur and a 20t pinion.

Running a SP Reventon Pro with a Revtech 6.5, 17 pinion. We run on high grip carpet. With a larger pinion the engine is getting too hot.

A little weak with an older 4300mah 30c pack but super quick with the new pro-match 6000mah 80c pack. There is only one spot on our track where you can open it up.
The car is so light it would be easy to overpower it I think. Mines 1710 grams rtg.

Viper VTX10R and I have 6.5, 7.5, and 8.5 Viper motors, but for my track, I run the 8.5.

How hot is your motor getting with that setup, I had a 19t on and it was too fast.

Small correction to the setup I posted, used to have 21T with an orion 6.5 the tekin I also use a 19T. The 6.5 orion got pretty hot ~140.

The tekin gen 2 temps around 120 125. It could be my driving style as well, I still drive my wheeler like I drive my RB6 . The LT4 ESC is pretty cold though, think its that dual mode trick (and negative punch on WOT) which keeps it cool paired with 80c IP saddles BTW.
