So I've been going through my "new to me" 2014 XB4 and am cleaning/replacing things to get it as new as possible. I have the Sweep 10Droids coming along with some Dirtwebs and bought a few sets of the Xray 14mm wheels to mount them to. Hopefully those tires will work well on the hard pack indoor med grip I will eventually be running on?

I've been put in charge of ordering spare parts for the car at my local track. In your opinion what. Needs to be stocked? We don't want to carry stuff just to carry it, mostly just the essentials, arms, gears, towers, wheels. Anything else you would believe to be must haves?

The only other issue I ever had with my XB4 was rounding the crown and input gear teeth. If you're stuck on a tube, DO NOT try to power over the top of it. That will flatten the teeth on the crown and input gears. I only did it once and it merely flattened to very top of a few teeth. The car still accelerated fine, but the braking was a little rough. I actually finished the day with the gears like that. So I'd keep a few sets of those gears on hand. They're extremely quick and easy to change out at the track.

On the list. Have not personally seen any fail, but some here have complained about it. The exotek safety collars are on the list. Have a pretty complete list if all I would like to see there, might be missing some stuff but the owner said he should be able to get stuff in from RC America pretty quick.

The front center coupler pin will walk out of the axle if the lube dries up. Those pins will push through the plastic retainer cups. So I would stock the plastic pin retainer cups or the Exotek aluminum pin retainer cups.

Im still having trouble with the rear end getting loose powering out of a corner. Its pretty violent to where there is no chance in saving it. Im running the standard clay set up with no limiters, 5/3 diffs,40/27.5 AE Blue fr AE Green rr. My tires are right because thats what everyone is running. Any suggestions?
