Hopefully those tires will work well on the hard pack indoor med grip I will eventually be running on?
I know the dirt webs will hook up there. Can't say for sure about the others.

I had same issue with the spur and it was the motor moving inside the cam mount. Tires for indoor hard pack clay that I prefer are Sweep Racing 10droids and Proline Ions, both in super soft.

Make sure the lip on the mount that screws to the motor is away from the motor not against it. I made that mistake when I built mine but caught it before I stripped a spur.

I've been put in charge of ordering spare parts for the car at my local track. In your opinion what. Needs to be stocked? We don't want to carry stuff just to carry it, mostly just the essentials, arms, gears, towers, wheels. Anything else you would believe to be must haves?

Gear boxes added to list, also hinge pins. I own the pin removal tool, no need for another one. Thinking of adding the exotek 12mm hex conversion. Whaddya think?

The front center coupler pin will walk out of the axle if the lube dries up. Those pins will push through the plastic retainer cups. So I would stock the plastic pin retainer cups or the Exotek aluminum pin retainer cups.

The only other issue I ever had with my XB4 was rounding the crown and input gear teeth. If you're stuck on a tube, DO NOT try to power over the top of it. That will flatten the teeth on the crown and input gears. I only did it once and it merely flattened to very top of a few teeth. The car still accelerated fine, but the braking was a little rough. I actually finished the day with the gears like that. So I'd keep a few sets of those gears on hand. They're extremely quick and easy to change out at the track.

Arms, wing mounts, hinge pins, ball cups, roll center inserts, exotek cups and hexes, diff cases, diff gears internal and ring and pinion. Also springs either xray or losi.

On the list. Have not personally seen any fail, but some here have complained about it. The exotek safety collars are on the list. Have a pretty complete list if all I would like to see there, might be missing some stuff but the owner said he should be able to get stuff in from RC America pretty quick.

Maintenance on this car is ridiculously easy.

Im still having trouble with the rear end getting loose powering out of a corner. Its pretty violent to where there is no chance in saving it. Im running the standard clay set up with no limiters, 5/3 diffs,40/27.5 AE Blue fr AE Green rr. My tires are right because thats what everyone is running. Any suggestions?

I had the same thing, and was told to lower the punch control on my speed control. Also my slipper was a tad bit too tight. Fixed those, and now its dialed.
