They have started adding a sticker to the boxes that state "this kit includes the V2 upgrades" or something to that affect. I don't recall the exact wording. If you don't have that sticker, or don't have the metal tower braces, you need to contact the place you bought it from to get the free upgrade.

No. I've only balanced the car with some weights. (30 gram on the ESC side)

I hear AVID might have some XB4 pistons coming out for all of you wanting to try different pistons. I also think machined pistons make the car a lot more predictable.

Lead stick on wheel weights with the sticky side removed. I shoe gooed them into the open space next to the rear battery hold down post. I did some trimming with an exacto to get the fit perfect.

you think a thin brass sheet cut saddle size from ace hardware would work as well? I am thinking of carrying some to the races this weekend if I need them.

Rear traction is still my biggest problem. I see others asking how to increase rear traction as well. I also own a B44.2 and have zero traction issues. I have tried every xray spring, many wt oils, tires, camber link locations, etc. I can't accelerate out of a mid to tight corner with the rear end coming around. On the sweeper at the end of the straight, it holds well. I have to baby it around most others. The B44.2 runs like a slot car, but I know the xb4 is quicker - if I can get the rear end to stay planted. I want to keep this car!

Any ideas beyond what I have asked before?

Actually, that should work better. You can get away with less weight if it's under the battery .
