I agree the Pl body is ugly but it might just be the paint. Ill be building mine soon and order the Jc Finnisher for mine.

Was looking at setups and there really aren't a ton to chose from for indoor tight medium bite clay. Will probably just start with the kit setup unless someone knows of a better one.

Just keep a shorty and a pair of rear gold springs handy and then tune on from factory setup. Try the japanese ones on the kyosho site first.

Has anyone tried running the narrow rear setup on medium bite? I keep breaking rf2s and the aluminum one is back ordered. Everyone local is having the same issue.

I am, although my track varies between low and low-medium. Better rear grip out of corners. Initial turn in isn't that much different. Mid corner turn is probably a bit worse.

How are you breaking these? Cartwheeling?

This reminds me. Is there a part number for the thicker RF2 plastic suspension block that comes with the kit? The one that comes with the UM508C tree is the older RF2 with the thin edges. Try putting one of those on and you will be replacing it every few races if your track has any sizable jumps at all. Kyosho must have found that out and beefed it up, but how do you buy it? Am I missing something?

And yes, I have tried the narrow and got it working quite well. No reason not to try it out and see how it works for you. The RF block is much thicker and will hold up fine.

The kit one lasted 10 packs and the replacements last like two qualifiers. I wish I knew the correct part number for the upgraded plastic one. I found an aluminum rf2 from Losi parts house!
