You suppose there going to keep us entertained with the cute little hobby knife tricks, maybe pictures of stripeless Zebra's or huge midgets everyday to make the time pass and help us forget the 16th?

Unlikely because most of us aren't n00bs like you and realize that release dates are an approximation...

Not that it matters much to most racers, but there are still team drivers that don't have their 22SCT's yet. They are on back-order for us as well. We are just as anxious as all of you. Unfortunately things like this take time. Unless I'm mistaken no one has guaranteed a delivery date to any LHS. I'm sure Horizon is doing all they can to get these unpacked, stocked in and processed for delivery with all manner of haste.
Not bashing anyone for being anxious....I'm as anxious about this release as any one on here. I just think it could be worse....there is another company that has changed it's delivery date 3 times.....and we aren't talking about days...were talking months.

Be patient and think that there are people out there who really want this truck but cannot afford it and by the time they can afford it, it will be on backorder. Anyone remember the 22T release? August, September, October, November, December, and finally, January 11th it was in stock at A-Main. Be glad that the truck has cleared customs and some people have already gotten them.

Or, not.
I suspect dealing with international manufacturers, customs, retailers, government regulations, etc... is a lot like pushing a rope, or herding cats. I have to assume they're trying to get them into our hands as soon as possible. There's money involved, and the quicker they can sell, the quicker they get money, the quicker they sell option and replacement parts. Etc. If there was no money involved, they would just keep the trucks for themselves.
I know exactly when my truck will arrive. It'll be precisely the day it gets here. Chill out.

22-SCT first drive experience
Got to drive a brand new 22-SCT at Hotrod Hobbies track last night.
I currently drive a XXX-SCT with XXX-T wide arms that by SCT standards is pretty dialed in...and not just my opinion either. Everyone that drives it is amazed at how hard you can drive it around the track. Honestly I was not expecting the 22-SCT to be so good that I would want to give up my current truck. While the 22-SCT was not completely dialed in, it handled well enough at 90% that it made me a believer. Even though I had to feather the truck around the track with the 6.5 motor it had in it, the truck just danced around the track and went anywhere I wanted it to go with ease. The truck was very quick through the infield and tight turns. It did have just a touch too much turn in for me but would be easy to tune. One thing that really impressed me was how well this truck jumps. It takes off very light and lands perfect off every jump. Never got out of shape and you could get right on the throttle and power out. Very impressed with this truck. So much so that I hate to say.....I am going to have to order one and put an 8.5 motor in it.

They didn't even cut the body post holes for you! Which i guess is because the mid and rear configs have the post holes in different spots. Makes sense.
Well I'm ready to say goodbye to my XXX SCT - Rad good last night but it's time to go!
