My lhs has a consignment case full of them right now. New xxx-sct roller for $90.

I think you saw the programming conversion plug, which plugs into DSB program box and a sensor wire. If that is the case, it won't work as an extension.

when building the shocks with the one low friction o-ring method, low friction on top or it doesn't matter which one goes where?

Use the low friction o-ring on the top. The standard o-ring on the bottom will seal better and keep contaminants out of the shock.

Hey guys quick question/poll... Long time Losi lover but just got back into electric trucks after a 15 year break. I really want to get into 2WD SCT racing but I know my slash won't cut it. Should I sell the slash 4X4 and slash 2WD for the 22 SCT now? Or wait awhile to see if there are any issues with the new 22 SCT?? Thanks guys

I would. If it is a money issue you can get a xxx-sct right now super cheap. It's still a really good 2wd truck.

Honestly, if your goal is to get into racing, then yes, sell your other two if that's what you need to do to justify it's purchase! Even though the 22SCT is new, the platform is not anymore. Pretty much the "bugs" have been worked out in the two previous releases, 22 Buggy and 22T. So even though there will be small minor differences between each, I think it's safe to say, this is a well thought out and tried and tested truck that has benefited from the evolution of each of it's predecessors in the 22 family. I'm currently running the 22T converted to a 22SCT and it's so good that it has me doing well against people that normally crush me in other classes. I think it's the hidden advantage, so i can't wait to get my TLR version which should be similar but a little more refined!

Just an opinion but to get a "loaded" SCT for $370 is awesome....just put it together and win..doesn't get any better..

Ive had my truck for about a month now and absolutely love it. Coming to this from other SC trucks it feels more like I'm driving a ST than a SC as its just locked in.

My truck came from the same batch as the first shipment... mine just found its way on to a plane rather than a boat. I have many weekends at the track but Ive also got a bit stupid with it and have tried to break some things but have been unsuccessful in doing so. Besides a quick trim on the ball cups this thing is ready to rock right out of the box.

If your concerned that its a new truck, dont be...

That will be a huge step. Slash to the first ever truely ground up race SCT will be night and day different. It should be awesome. Trucks hit stock in the system last night so should be shipping out today. I hope to finally get mine tonight!
