What does everyone think of the gear diff instead of ball diff? I run on high traction indoor clay track. We are always on clay slicks. What oil do you run in the diff. Thanks in advance

Gear diff is less maintaince but the ball diff has been proven to produce better lap times.

I ran the set up that you and Ryan posted. I ran my best time with a geared diff.1st run was with a ball diff and ran 14 5:19. 2nd run I tired the geared diff and with everything being the same and ran 14 5:11. So I still up in the air with that one. Great set up Thanks Ryan & Casper

Frank root has run back to back a few times and was always faster with ball. To each there own. If you can run fast laps with the gear that is great!

Back to back, I am .5 to 1.0 seconds faster per lap with a ball diff, and more consistent. This is running mod though, so maybe with a lower powered stock 22SCT it won't be as large of a gap, but a ball if is better for pure racing.

Maybe with a 17.5 it don't diff out as much. There is a big diff. In power from mod to 17.5. I will be back on Friday to try it again and see. Casper or Ryan what tires did you use. Thanks

Have you tried the 22 arms/cvd's on the sct? JR Just posted a setup using them on his truck

wondering the same here. I know the 22T has huge spacing in the rear hexes (they appear twice as thick as the 22SCT, just looking at the exploded view), so the 22t arm may not be much longer then the 22SCT.
maybe its equivalent to adding more width the alum. +_._ _ mm hexes.
