Sweet! I like it a lot! It's pre-painted right?

vr6cj 09-04-2012 01:55 PM

No, they dont come pre-painted. They have two versions though. Ones pre-cut and the other isnt.

Hey guys I have a slight traction prob going on here, the prob is only in two places on the track one in the apex of a big sweeper and at a 160 deg sharp turrn my back enjd washes a tad I can catch it mkost of the time and the only fix I have had working is not going so fast in those spots but I know there ia something I can do wit setup to fix this issue. I'm running
Chad due setup with some tweeks
35 wt oil ft
3 piston
31 ride height
Losi bb green
Less aggressive tire up front
Rear is

Might be as easy as adjusting your brake strenght. To much drag brake can cause this too. Try just reducing you brakes a bit and soften them up so you dont lock up the tires.

What is the purpose of running the body mount brace?

shagnat 09-05-2012 07:34 AM

I love your question ^^^^^ Looking forward the replies.

Wildcat1971 09-05-2012 07:37 AM

to stiffen the mount.

shagnat 09-05-2012 07:41 AM

Is it advantageous to stiff the mount?

Matt Trimmings 09-05-2012 07:44 AM

This was discussed only a couple pages back...

ok, I was using the search function, had to state that, but i didnt see "how" to drill the 4th hole. Can I user an old tower and offset it and bolt it on then drill the hole using the old tower as a template? Also, most o the setups seem to be for med to high bite, I run on low to medium. is the 4th hole even required? Same with C hubs. I run A hubs on my b4 and they work well on my local track. So would I stick with A on the truck? I am not a fan of the shaved brace, they brake non stop. I know strc makes an alum one.

Maifields setup from last years nationals looks like it might be a winner for my local outdoor track. His tire choice confuses me though.
