Are JConcept bodies generally .030 thick ? This would be on the thin side, correct? Is the JConcepts Raptor X-flow body a thin, light body? Any suggesstions?
The lightest sc body I've found is the Hellcat, made by a company called method RC. From what i remember, even with a several coats of paint and stickers it was still under 7oz. They are about 40 bucks shipped.

Shock set up should stay the same to start off with for sure. I would use different positions depending on the track, but I would lean more toward the rear and work forward depending on rear traction and steering. You can try someones set up here, but I suggest keeping your current set up(especially if its pretty good). This way you can actually see the difference before changes are made elsewhere on the truck.

Having some handling issues I want to try and address with a new SC10. At the end of a straight I am having a spin or roll issue. This is on med to high bite clay running Bar Code type tires. Would this issue be a tire issue or ??? Tuning this truck is something I am new at and did not know which direction to start.

Using the Latest Maifield setup as my starting spot. Green Bar Codes front and rear.

Thanks-

"spin or roll", I dont know what that means. If you are rolling over onto your roof, lower your high height and you might also benefit from less droop in the rear. I added 1 limiter all around to my kids truck and it was way flatter to drive. With my truck on a higher bite track, I can never hit the turn at the end of the track at full speed. I always need to scrub some speed and set the truck up for the turn. You could also try to loosen up the rear to make the rear stick less and rotate better in the turn.

If it has too much steering off the straight try a less aggressive front tire.

Or try loosening the diff some if it is too tight.

Try heavier oil in front or harder spring in front.

Thanks will give those items a try. The truck just cannot carry speed going into the corner coming off the straight. Really giving up time there as I have to let up sooner and coast the corner. I feel like it may be a tire issue and will start there with a less aggressive front tire.

Are you on the brakes when this happens? I had similar problems with the truck spinning out going into a turn after a high speed straight. Too much weight was coming off the rear wheels so when I tried to turn the trucks back end just came around. I fixed it by putting thicker oil and stiffer springs in the front like Outkast recommended. Also, making sure to brake in a straight line, and then turning while on the power (even if it's just a little bit) helped a lot to keep the rear end traction.

What hole should the rear camber link be in on my A block? What are the benefits to a longer or shorter link? Will any of these help with on throttle turning coming out of a corner? Can't compete with these Losi's in that manner?

@joker to much to explain. Here is a good reading to get you started.

and most people use the second hole from the inside on the A hub and C hub

so your spinning out on the high speed sections... what about the infield how is the car there in the turns?I k now for me when im coming down the straight and when i set up for the 90* off the straight i start high and kinda roll it off throttle alittle then get back on it and that works for me,i dont run drag brake on sc but do have my brakes set up like a abs system on a full size car.I have only ran my bb shocks one time so far,but my track was alittle inconsistant that night and i was running wishbones and rebars off and on. could depend on alot of things like tires/battery position/springs,oil,piston set up.
