TEKNO,

If I buy directly from your site, will I have everything updated? Will I have updated kit, if any? Will I have all the updated manuals, ie. shims in the diffs issue, etc...

I had a great time running my EB48 at the Off Road Kings race at Nor-Cal Hobbies yesterday. I made a few mistakes, but I qualified 5th out of 13 drivers. I'm still getting a feel for the car. I could probably have used some stiffer sway bars because the track had a TON of traction. It was like running on asphalt. Chris Jarosz of AE was TQ when I left. His fast lap was 24.08, mine was 25.88. I'll take that, especially considering I have only run about 15 packs through my car. He was definitely pushing much harder than I was.

My eb48 is awesome i only ran it on weekend i am about 1.5 seconds a lap behind the fast guy my question is how the hell do u make that up? Gearing, different lines, anyone know the best way to make up a second per lap? Cause im sure i will get faster by driving the buggy but are there any obvious ways? I just installed my traktion drive hope thst helps some

Is that 1.5 sec. your best against his best or your average against his best? Either way I would say practice, practice, practice. If your having problems with a specific section, keep driving that section over and over until you get it right then incorporate it into the rest of your lap. See if you can hang with the fast guys on the straight then you will see if you need more gear........................

Default shocks

I used the plastic o ring retainer on shocks instead of the alloy, do these work just as good or should I change them

Alot of it will be just driving. Cutting the fast, tight lines and hitting the jumps just right and being able to get back on the throttle and stay smooth is alot of it. Getting the car set up so you can do this is also a big player. Tune for the track and drive it like you stole it. Best words I can say to get that 1.5 seconds.

Best advice I've ever received, and I will pass it along:

STUDY what the fast guys are doing! 1.5 seconds per lap, on any track is significant, but what you will find is you probably loose the most time to the fast guys first on lack of consistency, second in the corners, and lastly in the air and on landings.

Good old smooth and consistent is fast. Don't crash. I get to watch and sometimes race with pros in SoCal and they just don't crash. They're not human.

"Races are won in the corners" has become a saying in racing because it is the absolute truth. The fast guys keep up corner speed and get into and out of the corners insanely quick. Brake and throttle control are equally important as steering control for fast cornering.

Pros also hit that very tight landing spot that doesn't slow their momentum and that allows them to get back on throttle immediately after landing. They also don't waste any more time in the air than they need.

Study Tebo in this video If you study his driving, you'll note that he doesn't crash, he corners quickly, and he lands everything perfectly EVERY lap. Then the video compares to the local fast guys and you quickly spot the little mistakes they are making that cost them small fractions of a second here and there.

due to pilot error i broke a front shock shaft 2 day. on amain part#tkr6004 front shaft is $18,rear shaft #tkr6017 is $10. i think they have the tkr6004t price instead of the 6004? seems like front and rears shud be the same $$$$.fronts are actually a little shorter so they shunt be more and for sure not $8 more??
tekno can you ck this out tommarrow and see if its a missprint. i need to order at the beg. of the week so it will make it to fl in time for the weekend.thanx, sr
