What size are the front and rear axles on the t4.1. 1/4 or 3/16''?
Has anyone ran black springs on the rear? I cant find any. Is it normal for the rear springs to touch the camber linkage? Please share any tips you have come up that only requires work not buying anything.. cya in the pits.

well it looks like i only have an 18 and a 19 pinion..
how much speed difference will there be from a 19 to a 20 or 21?

the used roller i bought came with no servo horn.
i tried to use one from an academy buggy but it sticks out from the servo to far.
the servo area is rather small.
am i missing something? or do i have to use an associated b4 specific servo horn

actually i figured it out...
i should have noticed tbh.
the braces that hold the servo to the chassis had a small shim in between the brace and the screws.
removed that and my academy svb2pro horn works perfectly.
its night and dark so i can only drive this up and down my driveway but i cant wait to try this thing out on a track! seems very zippy!

The speed difference probably won't be an issue unless on a very large track. The motor temp would usually be more a concern. Just keep an eye on it. Brushless isn't like brushed. They work in a range of gear ratios but too high can be as bad as too low for temps

my lil bro runs his mamba max 5700 at 18/19 pinion--84/87 spur........but of course it depends on exactly what you are doin and where your doin it....as stated before check dat temp !!
Gold springs for that one. Its a really good setup for high bite. I think it worked better with the weight of nimh though, especially on high bite clay tracks like trackside. The new FT T4.1 setup is really good too. Been running it all year with a variations at diff. tracks.
Question for you associated guys, I picked up a new b4.1 and on the rear shocks the green rear spring rubs against the shock body no matter how I trun the spring on the collars. I usually wouldn't mind but it does rub pretty hard on the body and can tell a difference in the two shocks. Anyone have a fix for this problem? Thanks.
