Default Novak error lights codes

A friend of mine is having problems with his Novak Havoc Pro SC and/or Ballistic 13.5. It's user error (water involved), but ESC seems to be alive still. its throwing some crazy light patterns. I looked and couldn't find any guide to what the blinking lights may mean. any leads?

I would say theres probably water still in the ESC... Remove it from the car.. stick it in a bag of un-cooked rice for about a week to remove the moisture (it works.. cell phone trick) Then try it again.. If it still doesn't work you may be in for a new ESC.. At least you tried..

Lights on a Novak generally mean flames are soon to follow

It's obvious that you don't read the posts before you simply paste the list you're so proud of. User error involving water isn't Novaks problem.

Just ignore him. He's martyring himself for Novak's and our benefit... or so he says.

That's why I specified there was water involved, seems to be a lot of Novak bashing going on and I didn't want my post to come off that way. I race at SRS in Scottsdale, Az, home of the Cactus Classic and several factory drivers and Novak does very well there.

Anyhow, the thing is probably dead, but it did go thru the radio calibration routine so it gave me some hope.

You're right that is a great thing to do for cell phones and electronics. My buddy actually ran his SC10 into the ocean in Mexico, and that was almost a week ago, so I think we're past rice rescue

It probably sounds like Im using the old "a friend of mine" line like when someone asks the pharmacist about herpes medication, but this really wasn't me! I'm proud owner of a Havoc Pro SC and Ballistic 550 5.5 in my SC10 4x4, no complaints.
