YES!!! This happened to me at a race.. TWICE. I still haven't fixed it yet cause I was so frustrated LOL.

It popped off and made my inner camber link pull out of the front bulkhead too. SUCKS! I'm pretty sure it is stripped out now.

It's cool to see a member rocking the old school Ford body.

Does anyone have a list of wheels that work within ROAR rules. I did a search and all I saw were DE wheels, but that was 400 pages ago, there are some on the first page but how often is that updated? Will by PL Beadlocks and premount split six's work?

Try page 1, specificly #13a.

I know the DE's fit as well as the Stock Losi's. The JC 12mm Rulix work well too. I just use the stock AE ones my self. I like the look. have 4 sets. And they are cheep. But most all the other ones are about the same price of $7 a pair.

Any wheel that has a 12mm hex will work. Now being legal, thats another thing. ROAR guys chime in here. I belive there is a max track width and the entire tire must be covered by the body when veiwed from above.

If the package says it fits AE and losi, you should be fine. If it says it fits Traxxas, Durango, or HPI, the offset is too much and will stick out a touch too far and be illegal.

I have a couple that are made for the HPI/Traxxas/Durango and use them when rules are not applied and when the track is really loose. Helps lock the rear down.

You need to check the individual manufacturers. I like using Amain to compair. They have a good selection and write up about what part fits what.

What is the ESC of choice? Im thinking rx8 and a sc4x 4.5

Thanks, right now everything I have is to wide for roar. Everything that I have mounted is for a blitz. Everything I buy from now on I will have to keep an eye out for, and no more pre mounts.... which sucks cuz I suck at gluing . Lucky for me most of my weekly races dont check.

The rx8 is probably the best esc out right now, but extremely pricey. A MMP from castle works well too, and about half the price. The sc4x is a very good motor as well. You wont have any problems with either of them.

it will be ok with a lower kv/turn 540, just watch the temp and use 48 pitch slipper. a 4.5-6.5 turn motor will do fine. You wont have a problem with the MMP with either the 540 or 550 motors.

Nothing. Run the tension on the belt a litte looser at first when the belt is new. After a couple packs and the belt loosens some tighten down the tensioners some. Beside that look for chipped teeth on the belt here and there.

I have been out of racing for little over a year now and I decided that i wanted get back to racing so i picked up a used sc 10 4x4. Got it and installed all my electronics and took it out for a test run and i can say that I am impressed. This is an awesome truck good job AE. Its the best 4wd off roader i have driven.

ESC wise, rx8 seems to the choice, although others will work as well. I've personally used the MMP and castle sidewinder. Both worked fine. Some of the guys here are having luck w/ the Hobbywing ESC's, give them a look.

AKA has SC104X4 pre-mounts.
