I know there are other options however someone has a new one for $75 shipped here.

Oh, well that changes things.

Again haven't ran one, but I kinda like that esc.

would this ESC work? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-ESC-100A-2-3S

Man a SENSORLESS esc for 115bux???? dont do it thats insane.....

the one i use is the same price,120a and sensored. FYI you can run boost or dynamic timing with an sensorless ESC, keep that in mind.

Evil Genius jr. 01-02-2012 03:43 PM

It's also sensored... I am also looking at the hobbywing SC8 but that is not sensored.

Stupid question, when using an HD and an SD pad in the basket does it matter which is outside vs. which is inside?

There will be a subtle difference, because the inner pad will only have one side being used, whereas the outer pad will have both the stainless steel plate and the slipper disk slipping against it.

Evil Genius jr. 01-02-2012 03:46 PM

Okay thanks! Right now I have HD spur SD plate HD, it works well.

CoyoteSlash 01-02-2012 03:46 PM

I didn't even see the Sensorless. blah.

But an Orion at 75.00. If you're running a 1410, would be 'nice'.

Evil Genius jr. 01-02-2012 03:47 PM

Would a MMP be better or the same?

a MMP is sensored/sensorless: 120.00.

I adore my Castle products. I have never had a bad time with them. (that's me, not everyone)

I burnt out a castle MMP by my own doing and they honored the Warranty. They're good people. But it's not a Professional ESC either. (but the programming sure takes it above a standalone ESC)

Evil Genius jr. 01-02-2012 03:54 PM

Sounds good. Back to searching :)

JEFFs SC10 01-02-2012 04:00 PM

I might be selling my MMP if you're interested. (upgrading)

Another vote for the MMP, I sent them back my esc that had probs and they replaced it no questions asked, they got it back to me right away too which was cool.

Evil Genius jr. 01-02-2012 04:01 PM

Might be interested in your MMP, how much (just comparing options, probably wont buy anything for a couple more days).

JEFFs SC10 01-02-2012 04:05 PM

90 shipped?
I'll throw in the programmer card too, so you can do adjustments quick on the fly.

I'm waiting to hear back from this dude on the Tekin otherwise I'll buy new.

Just pm me when you're ready!

Evil Genius jr. 01-02-2012 04:06 PM

I will let you know, I do already have a programming card from my sidewinder though.

JEFFs SC10 01-02-2012 04:12 PM

sounds good.

CoyoteSlash 01-02-2012 04:25 PM

I'm wondering if I should bling up my Chassis Brace.

Call it the CoyoteTek FT Chassis Brace?
