My truck is doin great except for the small problem I'm havin, and I can correct it by changing my dring style but I want to push the truck as hard as I can without changing me.

First off grind both ends of the springs flat where they overlap (the end of the coil) then the springs wont rub the shock body. The springs will bow if they don't sit flat on the cup. Check your drag brake setting and make sure you don't have any set, that will make the truck kinda goofy sometimes.

michigan state champs race

me and Krio went to the race i did not even know he was there till the mains . he qualified 3rd in the A main i qualified 9th we had an 8 minute race . krio and Scott rapaport a team losi a main driver battled till the end . i finished 5th krio won the race his truck looked really good . i do believe his truck has MTK basket , braced , not pinned , he said his slipper was locked down . congats to Krio he did an awesome job driving and wheeling his sc10 4x4 to the win

I hvae a 1410 geared 15/62 and the motor and ESC and cool to the touch. The car also seems much slower than my slash. Is this under-geared?

hey guys, im pumped to get one of these finally! i have a motor question though: i have an 8.5 540 available to run with my good old gtb - will this be ok? also, the other idea was a 6.5 HV motor - will that work with the gtb?

I have run a HV4.5 motor on a stock Spec Havoc without any problem. Novak would not recommend this cause it would stress the FETs. The GTB has stronger FETs than the Havoc Spec so you should be OK.

run a 13T or 14T pinion. It will move a lot faster.
I have the same motor setup you have and run a 14T pinion and I can out pull a Novak 550 5.5T motor
