got beat to it.. here is a picture..

the limiters go between the shock eyelet, and the shock body.. btw.. be sure to make sure your spring retainer clip seats normally..
i believe your truck should have come with limiters in it..

The only real advantage that the rx8 has over the monster is that you can run a sensored motor right? From what I'm told a 1:10 scale 4x4 with a strong 4 pole will never come close to needing a 210amp ESC and 100-120amp is ideal. Am I misinformed?

So we really do need to limit uptravel on this truck? I need to look at the design again. Did I just buy a giant sized XXX-4?

I have an amp logger that I play around with on the track form time to time and even a 17.5 non-boosted 2wd buggy can pull a peak amp draw upwards of 85+ amps. When you consider the weight and power of the motors we are running in the 4wd sct trucks it is very easy to assume that peak amp draw could easily exceed 150+ amps. I need to do some data logging on my 4wd to confirm.

Are you running RC Pro Finals this weekend or Lone Star Classic at Indy? Either way, y'all all suuuuuck! Had to pull out of RCP Finals due to kid's conflict.

Sourdiesel, that's a good servo. There are others by Savox (1258TG), Futaba (9551, 9452) that are as good and in about the same price range or a little less. MKS also has a nice little servo (DS1009) with similar specs to the above, but for about $45. Haven't used one, know a couple guys that do, they like it. You can look on their website. Whatever you get, you want metal gears, transit speed of .12 or better and torque of 115 or more oz/in (both at 6 volts). Digital preferred over analog.
And +2 or whatever on buying a good servo. Most people that have been doing this for awhile learned the hard way not to cheap out on servos.
