SC10 4x4 Thread
Just to make sure for everyone ....
I'm switching to a alloy rear hub in order to improve the stiffness of the hub & rear arm.
Reason I am choosing the TOADZ rear hub ?
Is to maintain the same geometry & camber stud location as when using with the kits plastic hub.
Love the Exo , great stuff ect ....

Could care less who makes hub however LoL
just a customer after all...

Ya, I'd like to see your truck! I'm curious if it could hang with mine hehee just playen! Mine is bone stock except for all the mods I did lol. I'll be there sunday around noon ish if you feel like coming down.
Nobody ever drives my baby but I might be able to make a exception. I would assume your truck will drive way better but I just have fun with mine. I've gotten to the point where I don't even bother trying to make it better I just get it semi dialed and deal with it from there lol. All summer I've been doing high speed 1/8 GT on road speed runs. Only hit 102mph so far but man its intense!
I don't know if you know or not but I did a video series called Road to 100mph that follows my progress thru the whole thing crashes and all lol it was a lot of fun! My car is on its way to ludicrous speed very soon! Check it out! SUBSCRIBE!

Hey does any one know kv ratings like the high it is the better or the lower it is. I seen a nice deal for a motor that is 1350 kv this will be going in a buggy. Our should iget 1900kv don't know all this stuff yet. when I got the sct the motor were listed as for the 4x4sct I got and 2wd sct.
I have my theory's about what caused this, but I can only guess and don't want this to happen to any of my new batteries. I have a few different types of plug in type 2S Lipo's for my SC10 4x4. I run one type (MaxAmps) that has internal connections and also a 150C rating and it never melted. All of my race packs are no less than 60C rated. Still not 100% positive why this is happening. I do know this is getting expensive, and if I ran it any longer it quite could have caught fire and did huge $$$ damage. I want to avoid that.

I was using "bird cage" plugs. I think that might have been a reason.

I am using these now:

I also turned down my current limiter to 80% on my RX8.

Anyone know about this and a cure would be appreciated.

I just picked up one of these packs. Good price. Come to find out it has short sockets and the standard size bullets were too long. It needed the short bullet connectors (4x14mm). Anyone tried these packs? link
