What are some of the significant upgrades needed on this truck to get it up to par? I'm missing the 4wd sc class and I want to give this truck a shot again. I ran it before the FT came out and was running all fast lap products. Any info would help!

If its loose, bumpy 1/8 track, I can recommend the following based on experiences with the vehicle: - M2C Rear Toe in block or similar to get more toe-in - RC Shox Center Diff (you may like the exotek locker though) - Exotek Chassis - RC Shox Dual stage pistons - Front springs to use on rear as needed |
I would only run it indoors on a med/low bite track. Dries out fast at times. 40x90 size track most of the time. Always "smooth" with small bumps. But also travel to a very high bite smooth track that's quite large. Just curious on the upgrades that would be good ideas to run.

What's a good starting shock setup (oil/pistons/springs) when using front springs on the rear?
It uses pretty much all the stuff I mentioned, in particular the RC Shox pistons. For stock pistons, not sure however. |

Click on setups Use John Walentia's Show Down . By the sound of your conditions maybe try blue rear spring instead of yellow.. You don't need to buy much extra. B4 C Hub for sure you will need. |
How are they mounting the C hub on? Drill new holes and mount flush to the hub? Is there any pictures explaining the "right" way of doing it?

Does anyone have insight into Chad Due's set-up from Trackside hobbys last weekend?

used roller question
i purchased a roller recently and I'm wondering if i should do a tear down on the whole truck? when i got it i noticed that the front wheels weren't spinning smooth due to a front screw pushing on the front clicker. I'm still waiting on electronics and I'd like to know if there is anything wrong with the truck before i run it. i wouldn't want to do more damage before i get to run it. but on the other hand i want to see how the truck runs before i tear it apart. is there any important things i should look at before i do anything with it? i currently run a 2wd sc10 and i have worked on that. so I'm pretty comfortable working on my own truck. any information would be helpful. thanks.

Yes, always do that in my opinion on any used items you purchase. |

Can down load the instruction manual at www.rc10.com measure & compare the screws so you know all are the correct size when you overhaul. Very common to find incorrect size used . |
What some of you have been waiting for is me racing my 4wd SC10 this weekend.
If the weather is clear and no more rain is on the horizon I plan on racing. |
