Agreed. Warranty is big with this class. Racers edge has a 1 year warranty as well!

Anyone try the Tekin Pro 4 HD in the SC10 4x4 yet?

Does it fit without cutting anything and how'd the belt handle the torque?

Anybody looking for nice roller.... cheap? I have one in the classifieds. It has an exotek chassis, a bunch of add ons, and a ds1015 servo for $185. Check it out.....its quite a bargain. I haven't run 4 wheel anything for a long time.

Some details: has pretty much all of the FT bells and whistles except the shocks. Has the yellow springs, Exotek chassis, Exotek locked front clutch, STRC Aluminum Belt Tensioner Pulleys, STRC rear A-arm mount 2-2, Clutch basket.

I know that LRP had problems with the first batch of IX8's, they are prone to glitch with certain motors/ batteries (BEC amperage is to low for 2S). Also the Tekin Pro 4 motors don't play well with others, they are best paired with the RX8,

Try an external BEC, Castle Creations offers one.

Picking up a new ESC, thinking Hobbywing eZRun 120amp ESC. My setup requires the esc to be mounted under the belt tunnel. Not sure it will fit.
Those of you that run Hobbywing ESC's in your 4x4, anyone run one under the belt tunnel?
Any suggestions on ESC's that do fit under the tunnel?
Thanks
Wiskers

To those using aftermarket rear hubs, which ones seem to be the better choice? Have been using factory hubs with the c/f tab mod and would like to upgrade. Has been a while since I have raced and I am seeing multiple options now. Any advice or opinions greatly appreciated.

Don't know about the eZrun but I have the Hobbywing 120a Xerun SCT PRO and it measures 38mm high mounted on servo tape on a exotek chassis. Great ESC for the money, get the programmer too !
