Hey guy's, I know this is a bit off topic but I would like to appologize to any and all of the OG sc10 4x4 fans/developers on this thread that take credit for what the truck is today. I will no longer be contributing any tech or personal opinions on the sc10 4x4. I'm sorry to anyone I offended but I don't play well with others on here or in real life. You guys have a good one and enjoy one of the best track trucks I have ever owned. Piece and Love! Jstall7543

Hi guys.
Just took my truck round our outdoors bumpy grass track and its hard work.
I've decided to start from scratch with the setup and thought I'd copy one off the AE site but the 2012 setups are all clay.
Is there a setup online you'd recommend for grass?
Most of my issues are the back braking free, at the end of long sweepers, mid corner, any where, sometimes if I go in a little hot it'll grip roll big style. I get push as well(under steer).
I just want to start again.
It's a FT with Exotek chassis and I'm tempted to buy the M2C rear block as well but no one in the UK seems to sell it!

So, which setup do you recommend?
Cheers

That sucks I hope you change your mind. You have been very informative
on this thread. I usually read your posts. The SC10 4wd is a very good truck.
Im very pleased with the way mine drives with the copperhead "R" esc and 550 4500kv 4-pole motor. I am running orange powered, but a different kinda orange....Viper orange....

Hey guys im getting my Lipos today hopefully. So it wont be too much longer before I hit the track with it.

Has anyone ever tried a center stick pack? I modded my chassis and have squeezed all my electronics back in and will try it this week on the track.

I don't really have a set up, I've just made changes as I've used it.
I do think the new ESC might be set with a load of drag brake which won't help with my 4 pole Tenshock.
I might sort that then set it back to factory setup and start all over.

Is it just me or are the stock ball studs bending a little to easy.

I've already had to replace 2 rear and 1 front.

GraphiteChassis or Sugs, any pictures of your centered stick pack modded trucks? Sounds interesting.

Long fun day & late night @ the track tonight.

Helped prepared Scott's Browns Sc 10 4x4 & B4 for the April Fools race coming this week end ..

Both Scott & John Walentia will be representing Ae ..

Browns Sc10 4x4 set-up is the same as John Walentia's*
cept for ballast & Blue rear spring..

Scott has
1 1/2 oz on each side of servo , 1/4 oz in the front corners on the chassis , 1 oz on rear saddle ,pack 1/2 next to pinion gear...

Also of note ...

Those recent pictures of BK's Sc 4x4?

Heard he is sporting 2 separate 1s packs to help spread the weight..

I just wanted to thank everyone on this thread for the info that has lead me to take my SC10 4x4 from being a shelf queen for the last year and a half and side lining me from racing the class to having a competitive truck on the indoors tracks for the last couple of months. It looks like it will have its first shot on a large outdoor track this Sunday if the weather holds out. It will be up against alot of Losi's and I know of at least a couple of Tekno's, I guess we'll see how it pans out. After being sidelined in the class all last year I own a Tekno myself now, just haven't had the time to get it built, (spending too much time with the SC10 4x4). I am currently using yellow springs front and rear, should I plan on putting the blues back on for outdoor? I have not installed the M2C block.

This was 3/24, did all those changes help him, or hurt him?
