Now I know you lack common sense and reasoning skills. I never said both diffs I said 1 uno, einz, single.....
sorry that I used the word diffs confusing you when I figured most people would realize I meant diffs as a general term not to imply both differentials at once. I also said reach not rebuild, refill and close it all up and have it all put back together, yes in 5 minutes that would be impossible......
Just like someone picking a fight with someone over trying to help with actual data not pipe dreams
Now I see why you and cherry get along so well impossible to understand some people these days

I work a 70 to 80 week but you want a vid of me pulling a diff in 5 minutes let me see what I can do for you. I have a life so excuse me if I don't jump right on that or even better cease to care what some internet identity wants to dispute because he clearly is not lucid.

This thread is always good for a few laughs.

Yup never drama free for more than a few days. I love my sc10 4x4 truck my wallet proves it  and when someone asks a question I feel comfortable answering because I have seen a consensus of the same answer's from multiple sources and have actual experience. I answer, I could care less if one cherry's toadies wants to goad me for being helpful. Ce La Vie.

Plus I'm racing tomorrow after taking a 1 month break and am excited to try my new rx8/pro4 4600 combo so I'm in a great mood.

How is it helpful to tell an aversge guy he should be able to pull a diff and be back on the track in five min. Post a video in real time then I will believe that you can do it and apologize to you personally for doubting your expertise. Until then your full of it. I have no associacion with cherry other than he's in my neighborhood and seems to be a straight shooter and a good guy. I know for a fact he hangs out with the fastest drivers in Wa state. I think I've made it pretty clear I love the truck. Im full time employed 41 year old white male and have been in rc since 95. I enjoy long walks in the park and straight shots of whiskey. Good times!

STOP THE BICKERING NOW, or infractions will be handed out and if it continues after that temp. suspension may follow...........

well good luck, today was my first day with the truck. was very happy, its a very different driving style, ive been racing buggy the past few years. never liked sc. then ran cherrys in a qualifyer last weekend i had alot of fun. an now i have my own. running jon's setup. with ion tires. a viper vtx10r and a viper 5.5 540 can the truck felt very smooth, im not running any added weight. also not using any front belt covers. i feel my batterys held my truck up. they felt very weak at 5min. but for the most part am very happy with the truck an it fun to drive!

Sc10 is Legit !!!

J-Fran

Can go quite a while , many races ....

estimate at least 10 to 15 race days

Ae 4x4

A tip ...

You know why Jstall & myself get along so well ?
We treat each other respectfully and only wish to have fun with our Sc10 on RcTech ...

That's the legit ....

My team mate (cantrell8) & myself had
a good show with the Old Sc10 tonight ..

cantrell was flying , first time out with his $200 team edition ...
Were both using John Walentias dialed set-up (posted on www.rc10.com)

Can say this with no doubts ....
He a believer now ......

Now knows Sc4x4 is blast to race , way more fun then even he expected ....

So gun ho ?
He converted back a new Tekno driver by letting him drive his ride tonight .....:batman:

right now on the new layout at Trcr ?

The Sc10 is the only Sc4x4 to go 21 laps !

also

Sc10 4x4 has the fast lap record to boot >>>>16.3 sec lap

No matter what new ride comes along ?
It still gets beat by the old battle axe at Trcr .....:D

Sorry I am real easy to get going. I have blocked the other member as to not continue any drama. Thanks for the shout out. I am going to go and play some Black OPS 2 and kill Zombies. I look forward to racing tomorrow and letting everyone know how my truck ran. Night all

Dang that's quick! Sorry I didn't make it to the track, I got side tracked on my mini 8ight project. Did a 51mph speed run today on radar. Still need to tear down my sc10 shocks and check the piston screws. I'm worried about another failure. More lock tight this time.

Jstall7543 03-23-2013 11:58 PM

You guys see that Tekin RS gen2 thread Randy started? That could be legit for 2x4 sc! Hopefully there will be a RX8 gen2 in the future.

You missed out ...

Don't worry , next Sc Saturday ?
I hope ...

51 mph ?

Aaa c-On , that's faster then me ....

shocks ?

Can try like ..

Just remove the bottom X-ring and only use the top Xring ...

Won't leak , smooth and no stick ...

Gives the truck a nice plush smooth ride ..
Improves traction & handling as well ...

As an "average guy" I want to let other "average guys" know that it is totally possible to get to the diffs in 5 minutes as AE and ilanstylz stated. It is not possible to get to, rebuild and be back on the track in that same 5 minutes, well at least not that I am aware of but hey, AE never said it was so nothing to worry about there. One word of caution to new "average guys" though, if you are using a power tool, set it to a lower RPM if possible. Spin the screws too fast and the plastic tends to get awfully soft leading to stripped parts.

ryanpatrickgore 03-24-2013 07:29 AM

Oh no Cantrell got one!!? Ugh. Another "fast guy" to lap me.
