Sc.
Honestly that is the exact same experience I had with them as we'll. but in te end it just didn't do the job as well as I liked. Now that I'm running the tekin. I can truly say that it is inferior. Yes it can do the job tho..

P.s.
Did you see my winky face icon guys?
;)

I saw, but people nowadays don't know how to use that emoticon. So I assumed. Apologies.

I went from a MMP to an RX8 and it felt like I put a turbo in. Big difference, and I'm not even talking about the ESC issues the castle had. It just seemed to flow a lot more juice.

I saw a picture on Facebook today of RC practicing at OCRC. He had his sc10 4w and b4.1 on the bench.

Hey. Probably not. How do I say this without being a jerk? I just don't like running indoor.

If I do, I'll run 17.5 SC or buggy.

Just some more info from castle on the SV2 to help in your decision:

The Sidewinder Sv2 is the perfect choice for upgrading 1/10+ 2wd and 4wd vehicles weighing 5 lbs or less to quality brushless power and speed.

Duratrax

I ran the even cheaper cc version called duratrax in my truck for months on a huge 1/8 outdoor track with no problems but I did change it out soon as I can afford it. They work but not like rx8 pro 4

Guys that are running the Exotek Chassis with a RX8 speed controller are you running the RX8 on the left side where the receiver would normally be or on the right side?

ryanpatrickgore 11-06-2012 02:18 PM

Is it normal for the belt to rub? I believe I have the tensioners adjusted right. Sometimes I noticed a little squeak from the belt rubbing against the plastic... Maybe just re-tension it..

The belt tunnel can bow over time and rub, but if it's just brushing it it's no big deal.
