Hasn't been an issue for me. Though, I live by " you cant make power if the wheels arent on the ground" so I keep my ramp to ramp transitions as smooth as possible and my ramp to flats as low as possible.

I find the faster acting suspension keeps the tires on the ground better,

I did many times. I've tried everything in the centre slip/diff department.

I found it unreliable. My best most consistent days were with the exo locked hub and garo for the rear.

Trying to get more info on that Prolite4x4. Since it's shaft drive (and many of us have been dying for such), I'm trying to find it what parts it's compatible with, etc.

Time to buy one and hop it up.

Ok battery preference stick pack or saddle pack?

Depends on the setup you like. I've only run stick so far, I'm going to try saddle.

Probably anything that fits the Thunder Tiger Sparrow Hawk line is worth at least a look as it may be compatible.

Saddle packs in center chassis configuration. Though, a stick pack down the middle could be killer. Maybe exotek will make a chassis that can do that?

I have the RTR version and just bought the FT kit that AE sale's and I have the option to run stick pack or saddle packs.

So your saying run saddle packs in the center?

Is there an advantage to saddle pack batteries than stick packs? I'm thinking about the Orion saddle 5500mah 90c battery for my sc10

Me personally I found that the car felt better around the track with the saddle packs down the middle. Disadvantage, if you have a track that can be brutal on runtime, you may find the benefits get outweighed because of this. You can however look into a center stick pack setup as well.

Exactly. You've got to drive the truck for what it is. I never understood why people use "nitro finger" for driving electrics. With a high end ESC/Motor youve got sooo much throttle control, but I never see anyone use it.

I run 10min mains on 5000mah saddle packs, and put 4000-4100mah back into them. It's all about being efficeint with this truck.
