Gearing help
What gearing would you recommend running Rx8 and Tekin 4.5 on this high traction clay track?

Well, here is a few pics of my V1 inline stickpack conversion. Pretty happy with it but it hasn't been on the track yet so I have no impressions. Planning on getting it out there this weekend. Already have V2 working in my head, but it requires a little carbon fiber fab. We'll see how this goes first.

Just noticed I was charged for shipping too when its supposed to be free? No option was available for free? Maybe something to look into on the site. Strange.

whats up Jeff?!
i cant wait to see another fast AE at the pro series race in houston. i am still running stick pack in the middle position btw. 35wt wil be to thick for mikes,i using 25wt frnt and 20wt rear, the front feels too stiff most likely from thick shock oil. anyhow, feel free to turm some lap with my truck to try to find a setup, and if you need any help with anything, just ask

What pistons are you running? I typically like my cars a little on the soft side, I feel like I can push them harder, I don't like a car to feel stiff.

That might be true, but there is something wrong with your truck.
No. If I turn my brake EPA up, I can lock up the front tires at WOT, skip the belt so hard the neighbor can hear it, and I've never lost a belt. However, my tunnels are still perfectly straight, I have a chassis brace installed, and the rest of my truck is in good shape.

I am using rcshox.com dual stage pistons 1.1comp 1.2 rebound. They allow you to run a softer, more efficient suspension, it also seems to give you more turn in. You will see what I mean if you wheel my sc10 4x4, if you like a soft feel, these pistons are the shizzle. At Mikes i tend to keep the oils light, but go to stiffer swaybars.
I guess I'll try the 4x1.3's since I have those.

I'm sure you will be able to find any information about the truck while you are here............hmmmm....wait a sec, you seem to be very active and sell parts for the truck......so we'll be looking forward to any constructive advice that you can give the less knowledgeable members...........oh....wait....no....you're just a salesman who hasn't contributed any help what-so-ever to our thread trying to sell us stuff that we can get elsewhere for cheaper.... Thanks, but no thanks. I'll buy my stuff from people who have at least offered assistance and reasons to buy stuff....people who actually use the stuff they sell....
