I tried 7/7. I dunno. I have so many issues with the truck, I cant seem to pin down the core issues. Please dont say RCShox v2 C diff, lol. I have no plans of buying anymore stuff. this truck should work with what I have.

the truck cant square up under power, rear end comes around 100 degrees in every corner. If there are any bumps on the track it is all over the place.

Have you tried the .5° rear hub from strc?
Should help with the oversteer and not squaring up coming out of a turn, the bumps are a different issue.

stock hubs. I am basically afraid of the trigger when i drive this truck. It is fine indoors. If I mainly raced at the local indoor, it would be fine. But on the outdoor track I run on 90% of the time, its horrible. Worst rc I have ever driven. And I have owned a few over the years. It kinda feels too light. Any power at all and all 4 wheels spin. What is the most weight people have added? I have 2oz up front right now.

Im not going to say it.........

Think hard about what it is doing, you simply have too much drive going to the rear wheels. If you dont want the center diff i think the next best thing is going to be the Exotek front lock out and garodisc. If the truck is getting upset over the bumps go lighter springs, softer fluid and run the shock mounts on the inside. You can also try the 3-3 block, it will give you mroe rear traction at the expense of more entry rotation and it will stiffen the rear suspension while under acceleration. On a rough track it doesnt work very good.

It has long been a known fact that the truck is a handful on the loose stuff , nothing new.

2 oz up front and worried about oversteering conditions? Maybe a move the weight back. Or remove it.

niko,
I dunno, people say weight up front makes the front push. Something about the pendulum affect. What I really need. Is to practice on the track with race type track conditions....but this is impossible. The track is bone dry during the day and we race nights. So the track is wet during races. I tried to water the track for practice, but in AZ 10 minutes later it is dry again, lol. I am using the exotek and garo in the vts. When I dirve indoor hard clay, I feel like i need to do minor changes to make it faster. outdoors, it is like a completely different truck. And much harder to tune in my opinion.

manis, I am currently using the setup you gave me plus the exotek locker. It was ok in practice, but then the rear got more and more loose as the track became more and more wet. I am wondering if my tires are just completely wrong. Tire are 90% of the setup and I am wayyyyy off right now.

Nope. There is no extra push on my truck, steering was very similar. I drove 1/8 for quite a while and this change was not as significant as even changing 2000 up or down in in diff fluid on 1/8.

ryan, did you use 30k with the exotek? Did it push? I never tried the 30k, I put the exo in and dropped to 7k

Ok, with the respect to weight. Where do i put the weight in the 4x4 for it to push. because until I can get a light push, this truck will be very hard for me.

1* of toe in
0 camber
Ackerman all the way back
30-50k front fluid
Yellow front springs
2mm spacer inside of front shocks
5mm inside camber link spacers
mount shocks on the outside of arms

If you do all of this and still get no push, your rear dif is locked up LOL!! If you are running 7k with a slipper it is never going to work

I have all the stuff in red now. So go back to 30k in the front and add 2mm inside limiters? 7k was with the exotek

Exotec chassis or lock?

the 2mm spacers decrease droop which will reduce steering. The higher you go in front dif fluids the more "numb" the steering will get . what sway bars are you running?
