Thanks,

Which will tighten up the truck 19 tooth pulley in front or rear?

fq06 07-22-2012 06:47 AM

The 19t pulley is an overdrive so if you use the front one, the front tires will turn faster than the rears giving you understeer.
Put the overdrive pulley in the rear and you get oversteer.

I have never used either 19t pulley, but from what I have read on here, and other sources, using one makes for a very loose belt (regardless of tensioner settings) and possibly the belt coming off.

Sounds like using one is a non-starter and it is out of the "toolbox" for me, so to speak.

I never had any problems.

I've been running the overdrive pulley in the front since day 2 of my truck running, and while it's true that the belt feels "soft" that way, it has never skipped for me until yesterday. I replaced the belt (after 7 months it's just worn out, it was a good bit longer than the replacement) and again, no issues with it coming off.

I hate you...........

why so much hate? show the love! i feel like the truck needs a little more rear traction? still kinda wants to kick out but not as bad as before! overall the truck feels more consistent, truck feels more predictable into the turns/ exiting sweepers..

Seen a few posters even suggest stiffer rear springs , proof plenty of traction with the truck ...

Not that I can suggest to use a stiffer spring as yellow is plenty....:tire:

Borack , if your loose , try blue ...;)

Wildcat1971 07-22-2012 09:57 AM

I went to a lighter spring and lost rear traction......grrrrrrrrrr
