the ballstud goes through more, so the height (location of ballstud - well besides more forward or more backwards) doesnt change, you can use shorter ballstuds to avoid possible rubbing.

Looks like it will clear ok. If the stud is higher does that impack handling?

the stud isnt higher, just sticks out the one end, so it doesnt change anything, only the adjustability of a more forward hole and a more rearward hole.

I have the new ft and it was the bell crank that ended up breaking not the rack.

I'm on my third one. (In 15 months)

twisted 07-06-2012 09:04 PM

i was hoping that rpm made one but doesnt look like it.

CoyoteSlash 07-06-2012 09:17 PM

Well, if you're racing, you should have to replace that part if at all, once maybe every 6months+.

Bashing, go get a T-bone bumper.

RC10Nick 07-07-2012 05:23 AM

anyone have a part number or an ID size for down travel limit washers?

I've cracked 2 in two races in the same spot. I race on a 1/8 outdoor track that has a huge gap jump and when the wind blows, it's difficult to land with sc.

Got my first race in with the sc10 4x4 ft. here's a few observations:

1. without the 8mm mod it had plenty of traction.
2. ran the yellow front springs in the back.
3. added droop by two turns of shock eyelet (more grip and better jumping)
4. ran my race, didnt worry about losi trucks, and placed it in a main.
5. cleared 1/8th type double jumps without the exotek center plate.
6. car likes ride height 25-26mm
7. lrp 550 5.0 with lrp sxx tc spec v2 ran at the right temperature without issues.

listened to other sc10 4 x 4 owners complain all night while i just tuned my truck and made it work just fine. For a first outing I was impressed and I will tune it some more and catch the losi trucks.

Are you running the ft version?

dominick i. 07-07-2012 07:24 AM

yes

Wildcat1971 07-07-2012 07:54 AM

ok, because the non ft needs a lot more than just yellow springs.

bseckel 07-07-2012 08:03 AM

finally raced my 4X4 last night at Long island raceway, Before last night I was ready to give up on this truck, but now with the 8mm mod an other mods I did, it was alot better. Now i just need a center diff and more practice with the truck and it will be very competitive. pretty happy with it now.
